Do I need to book an appointment?

Thanks for the response. However, please note that there is a difference between a Schengen visa and a Spanish national visa. Schengen visas are not issued for work purposes and each EU country still have "national visas" for foreign workers.

I have a highly qualified professional visa and my wife is trying to get a visa appointment at the Consulate in Lagos but her emails are being ignored.

Can you please share the subject of the appointment email that your brother's wife used?

I have a Spanish work visa and I intend to fly via KLM by transiting through the Amsterdam airport en route Sevilla.
Do I need a transit visa? The airline couldn't give me a reasonable response.

Please advise me if you've followed this route in the past.
