I remembered vividly some organizations will asked applicants to input their NYSC cert number before having access to the next step

That should be CONSOL 3 but if you have a trade with a trade cert CONSOL 4

Without NYSC Cert/Exemption letter you don't stand a chance

This 120k you mentioned was when minimum wages was at 18k. Their salaries have increased. Civil defence take home pay is way above 120k now

If the letter is real, it shows the uniqueness of custom compared to other paramilitary agencies.
No other paramilitary or military is sending names to governors for verification again.

Lol... No be only uniqueness. All i see is lots of interest here and there trying to temper with the exercise.

The military especially the army SSC/DSSC recruitment do that after everybody is in camp. They will invite states liaison officers and randomly send delegates to LGAs and residence of the trainees.

If NCS will send such letters to states governors just have it in mind that there's is a lot of pressure from states and LGAs. They want to be sure if those given APL are really from their LGAs before anything camping comes up.
