Finished it a some weeks ago.
Plot was really interesting.
I think there will be a 2nd season because according to the synopsis, "Yuwen yue & Chun'er will end slavery and also stop Yan xun quest of revenge. All these didn't happen. Hope Yuwen yue didn't die in the final episode, cos it looked like he died.

There will definitely be a season 2.

Omo Igbo will not kill me,they want to make me bankrupt.The film they are selling hundred naira is now 150 to top it again,one season of a korean film you will see only two episodes there.For example,i bought the king loves and i met only two episodes in season 1(one episode is only thirty minuets),the other seasons has three episodes.
Same thing was done to queen for seven days.I am not buying film again,i am now borrowing or read the recaps of the episode on google

Na my brothers handiwork now. Money must be made. Biko. Lol.

The last Dvds I bought was Descendants of the sun last year. Imagine, season 1-4, there were 2 episodes each in one disk. I was like, "so I will still buy another 5-8 season to complete an ordinary 16 episode drama".

How I got into K dramas
I was in Ss1 when I watched a single episode of Jumong in 2010. Though, I didn't fancy it. That was the period when our favorite Merlin, Legend of the seeker, Spartacus e.t.c were hot cakes.

My first Kpop music was gagnam style, that was in 2012. I watched it because of the record it broke. I didn't know if it was a Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese music, all I knew was that it was an Asian music.

I said to my friends, "why would grown up men cry like babies?" really pathetic! Especially those of the Philippines.
I love my American series, and I thought they were the only best in the world.

I bashed people who watched Phillipines-like dramas(a.k.a men crying babies).
My younger brother introduced me to City hunter and I wasn't interested since it was an Asian cry-baby drama. I didn't bother to see the pack, let-to-say the disk.

Fast forward to 2015, A friend of mine, though not a close one was Korea-filipino fan. I couldn't differentiate between the two countries. This friend buys these dramas always. I was like, "Grow up mehn, stop watching these nonsense".
Every weekend, this guy comes home with bunch of Asian drama packs. I wonder if he was an invisible Film distributor. I thought he was getting crazy. "Village people at work".

I visited another friend one Saturday, I saw this Korean drama on the balcony titled "My daughter, Geum sal wol" A family drama. 5 disk in one pack.
I took it home. I didn't even know why I took it self.

One Sunday like that, at home, a boring day. Internet was dry, no seasonal film to watch, I didn't feel like going out. I called and visited some friends to borrow any movie. Nothing! Na old stuff movie. Nothing new.

I started going through my movie collections whether I can re-watch some films. I saw the drama I took from my friend. I skipped it. I re-watched some American films and got bored.

I inserted the first disk of the K drama. I didn't know if it was Korean or Phillipines. I was just watching because of no option.

I said to myself that I will drop it even before it finishes, but I kept going small small. From morning till night, I kept going. Forgot to eat food self. My younger brother keep asking me if all was well. I was like "free me man" don't disturb me. That was
how I finished it.

what kept me glued to this drama?

It is not that it is more interesting or better than others but The pattern of their ROMANCES made it interesting. First of its' kind. It isn't like America series were a guy would met a girl, like her and immediately, they start kissing and having sex. No romance.
The way they ends each episode can give people Hbp. Making audience eager to watch more. Not like Chinese or others that ends at random. I finished the 51 episode drama in 4 days.
For my eyes now, the drama sweet small.
After I finished it, I asked my younger brother where is the drama "city hunter" he recommended me many months ago. He said he returned it already a long time ago.

I went out and bought City hunter drama in few minutes. After, Bof, dream high, heirs, e.t.c Later, I started downloading. First was Healer and so on. That's was how it started.

Just read how Flamingcharisma got into kdrama world.
Let everyone tell us how they got in to K drama world. Let it begin.

Hey guys. I haven't watch bride of the water god. I want it to finish airing before watching. It seems the drama has heavy criticism.
The way the drama was overhyped before it started airing self. I thought it would beat Goblin and DOTs combined together.
