Hello Nairalanders, recently we can notice that there is an upsurge of cheating in relationships, which has now turned out to be a norm in the society. But now there is a new trend where a couple cheats on his or her partner and then the cheating partner comes on social media even to this very platform to confess that he or she was truly in love with their partner and would not like to lose him or her. This has been very confusing to me. I am not so knowledgeable in relationship affairs and I need some clarification on this matter. My question is goes like this. In this type of relationship was there ever really love and if yes then why did the cheating partner cheat. Pls feel free to air you thoughts on this matter. |

Hello guys, firstly I must say that this argument is purely subjective and this is my personal point of view. Firstly, I believe feminism is a rational social theory and I'm not against it. But recently I think some misguided individuals have lost the true purpose of feminism and have given in to their hatred. Just for better understanding, Feminism is a social theory or political movement which argues that legal and social restrictions on women must be removed in order to bring about equality of the sexes in all aspects of public and private life. If we look closely at this definition then we begin to understand that some individual particularly "misinformed females" have gotten it all wrong. We now observe that most feminists recently, are those who have suffered severe heartbreaks from some irresponsible guys and have closed their hearts towards men. We see them address men as scum, rats, animals and so many other unpleasant words and they convince themselves that they are fighting the good fight of feminism. We see proud feminists like Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Nwando Achebe and many others who have crossed the shores of Nigeria to enlighten other women and men likewise about feminism and are really making impact. Currently we see that some "Nigerian feminist" permit me to say, only spread their hate on social media and some unfortunate fellows have taken in their steps. The fight for feminism is continuous but I believe some individuals need to check if they are still on track. As I mentioned earlier the argument is purely subjective and this is my point of view. What are your thoughts on this. |
