1. From reports, he was attacked outside a restaurant, so the robbers did not appear as soon as he "collected money and left the bank". He himself mentioned it in the video that it happened some 10 minutes after he left the bank.

2. I work in a bank, and I know first hand how some customers can be so careless with what they say and how they act in the bank. I have customers that once they are in the bank they never keep their mouth shut. Everybody in the banking hall would know what they came to do and what they are worth.

You should know this, not every one you see inside the bank came to do transactions of their own, some came to just spy and seek information which of course they would get from the loud customers themselves, and not from bank staff.

Everything previous posters told you is based on experience. You might not be successful if you don't make the necessary adjustments like they advised you. It is rare to see someone taking two holidays in a year without his family. Na automatic red flag. Also something about bankers have been said in the previous threads. Either part 2 or 3. I wish the old timers will comment and point out the errors in your application.

Well, to address some of the things you raised:

It was never my intention to travel again this year. In my application, I stated I would be travelling in June 2026. Also, my trip this year to Barbados was with my wife, before she gave birth of course.

I appreciate the corrections and all, but there's no denying the fact that the system is prejudiced!

I’ll add my two cents without prejudice to what others have commented. I wish to state you did nothing wrong at all. A different visa officer or probably an interview in a different US embassy would have gotten you the visa, forget about all these analysts pontificating about what went wrong without having the full picture.

It's a passport photo but not the regular passport size. It is square and not rectangular. Plus, it is a little larger than regular passport.

Whoever is printing your passport photo, tell them you need US size.

Hi everyone.

Please I need clarification on the photo/passport to be taken to the interview. My interview (B1/B2) is next week Monday, on the appointment letter it is stated to bring along a passport photo, whereas on the reminder email I got a couple of days ago it is stated to bring along "a 5cm x 5cm photo".

My question: is the 5cm x 5cm photo still going to be a passport photo? or a full photograph?
