Wounded Heart, Mr Lover by Hadedolapo

I was in my room when I heard a knock on the door.
Must I show you how much I care before you stop giving me this attitude? Says my annoying boyfriend, Alex.
Though I don’t love Alex because he smokes and drink, he doesn’t have eyes for just a girl.
“What are you doing in my room? “I asked.
He looked at me in such a funny way I seem not to understand. He moved closer to me.I took a step backward and also tried to prevent eyes contact with him.
He touched my waist and pushed me to the wall.
“I love you my dear, stop avoiding me pls” he pleaded. My body trembled upon hearing those words being flushed out of his mouth.
I kicked him to save myself from anymore drama with him
“I hate guys, so pls stay away from me” I said
” You can’t keep doing this to me Amara. I love you from the bottom of my heart♥. I can’t just…….
“Hold it there pls”,I shut him up
Now listen attentively, I can’t continue with this chit-chat conversation any longer so pls get out of my room. As he was about leaving, a friend of mine came in,what’s going on here?-says Michelle
Alex went out without uttering a word to me nor my friend Michelle.
“You keep sending guys out of the room, both the good and the bad ones .what the hell is wrong with you? Can’t you think for a second? The more you send them away, the more they have bad impression about you.Talk to me my dear, say something sweetheart.”
My friend bores me with questions each time I send guys out of the room
“You are full of questions buddy. Its my relationship life and I av to live by whatsoever thing I find better and interesting for myself” I uttered those words without looking at my friend.
“I would be traveling to London next week” my friend told me
“Wur? What about me? You can’t do this by leaving me all alone here” I told my friend
“Then look for a boyfriend” says Michelle. We both stare at each other with disgust.

Education / JAMB Change Of Course And Institution – When And How To Apply For It by MackHort(m): 2:16pm On May 24, 2017
Gotten via http://bazehub.com.ng/2017/05/jamb-change-of-course-and-institution-when-and-how-to-apply-for-it/

Every year JAMB usually allow candidates to make changes in either the courses/institutions or both the course and institution they selected during JAMB UTME registration. There are reasons JAMB candidates may want to make changes on the course of study or institutions they initially selected during JAMB UTME Registration. However, we do advise that before you apply for JAMB Change Of Course And Institution, ensure you are making the changes for the right reasons.
What are the right reasons to change your course or institution? Let’s look at them;
Reasons to Apply For JAMB Change Of Course And Institution
There are three good reasons why a candidate may need to change his/her jamb choice of course or institution or both:
Case 1. Due to Low UTME score:
After the release of Jamb results, candidates who scored below the cut-off mark for the institutions they initially selected, may need to change to other institutions that can accommodate or accept their UTME score.
Similarly, in most universities, you will require a high UTME score to get admitted into courses like Law, Medicine And Surgery, pharmacy etc usually . So if you initially chose any of these courses and have a low UTME score, then you definitely need to change to a course that can accommodate you UTME score in your
Case 2. Issues With O’level/UTME Subject Combination
Many candidates make the mistake of not choosing the right O/level/UTME subject combination for the course they wish to study. In case you don’t know, choosing the wrong subject combination automatically disqualifies you for admission. So if you discover that you have selected the wrong subject combination during JAMB registration, then you will need to change your course of study to match the subject combinations you entered during JAMB registration.
Case 3. Mistakes During Registration
Mistakes do happen at times regardless of how we try to avoid it. We have seen cases of candidates complaining that operators of registration centres mistakenly selected for them, courses and institutions outside what they (the candidates) wanted. If this is your case, then you may need to go for a change of course or institution as applicable.
Case 4. Other causes
These includes several factors ranging from finance, change in Geographical locations, Parent’s suggestions, Fear of Tribal differences, etc.
PLEASE NOTE : If you are changing to another course or institution, first confirm if your O’level/UTME subject combination matches the one you want to change to and also your course of study is offered by your school of choice . This is very IMPORTANT. You can use the JAMB Brochure to know the right subject combinations and the courses offered in each institution.
Having seen cases when change of course and institution becomes necessary, the next question is,
“how can I change my course/institution or both?”
How Do I Apply For JAMB Change Of Course And Institution?
To change your course/institution or both, follow the steps below;
Go to http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ and login with your email address and password
Once logged in, you will be taken to the landing page where you will see all available services.
Select “Correction of Data”. This is available on the side bar.
Once selected, the menu item “Course/Institution” will be revealed. Click this.
Once you select this service, a Transaction ID is generated for this service. This will be displayed on the confirmation page screen.

On the Interswitch Payment page, enter your card details and click on the Pay button.
The status of your payment will be displayed on the “My Payment Section” An SMS and email containing your unique Transaction Identification and payment status will be sent to you after payment. Click on the Continue button.
Once payment is completed, you will be asked to provide the following:
a. Year of Exam and
b. JAMB Registration Number
After entering the information correctly, new options for Preferred course/Institution and second choices will appear. Options available will be based on availability.
Click Submit to complete your application.
JAMB will now process your application. If Approved, your details will be changed as requested.
PLEASE NOTE : If you do not know how to go about this. Do not try to do it by yourself. Visit any accredited centre or JAMB offices nationwide, they will help you carry out the process to avoid making another mistake while trying to correct the previous one.

Education / JAMB 2017 Candidates With No Result Yet, Please Read This by MackHort(m): 12:46pm On May 24, 2017
Gotten via http://bazehub.com.ng/2017/05/jamb-2017-candidates-with-no-result-yet-please-read-this/

We have observed that many candidates have been unable to see their results many days after writing the ongoing JAMB CBT exam.
We understand how frustrating this can be and equally understand your agitation.
However, this is not the first time it is happening. Every year we do have cases of some candidates not able to see their results even when the results of other candidates they participated in the exam with have been released.
JAMB has given some reasons why it is so. You can read that up on this link: Reasons Some 2017 JAMB Results May Not Have Been Released
Be that as it may, we know from experience JAMB usually end up releasing most of these withheld results a week or two after the JAMB exams except when such results are linked to any form of malpractice or irregularity.
So if you have checked online and got a response like “No Result Yet”, just relax. There’s no need to get overly panicked.
For candidates that see half result or incomplete result or the result not showing their full scores, it could be because you are using Opera Mini to check it, try using other browsers or better still use a computer system.
We advise that you keep checking the portal for your result with the steps we provided on this link:
2017 JAMB Results: See Easy Steps To Check All UTME Results Free hopefully your result will be released soon

Education / Deadline To Reprint Exam Slips For 2017 JAMB UTME by MackHort(m): 4:08am On May 11, 2017
From http://bazehub.com.ng/2017/05/deadline-to-reprint-exam-slips-for-2017-jamb-utme/

WARNING: All JAMB candidates, who intend to write the 2017 UTME MUST Ensure they print their UTME Examination Slips before 13th May, 2017.
The UTME Examination Slip contains the crucial information about your Exam Venue, Date and Time.
As you all already know, JAMB has emphasized that there will be no re-scheduling of any candidate that misses his/her time. That means, the candidate who misses his/her Exam Date or Time will be marked absent.
There is no strict DEADLINE per-se, but it becomes a deadline for anyone, if your exam schedule falls on 13th May (the 1st Exam Day of 2017 UTME). This means that the deadline for each candidate to know his/her schedule is on the actual DATE & TIME of their exam.
Just imagine a candidate who finally reprints his Exam Slip on 13th May at 5:00PM, only to discover he was scheduled to write on 13th May at 7:00AM.
Since there is no other way to check your schedule alone (apart from the slip), Please ensure you all reprint your slips, or at least, know that your schedule DOES NOT fall on 13th May. To do this, you must all reprint your slip before the above stated date.
We expect JAMB to do more, as the portal seems to be unreliable at most times. Basically, nothing pops up at our end, even after enabling pop-ups on our browsers. If JAMB can provide more options or ensure all Exam Slips are mailed to users, that will be very helpful.
Bazehub have been good at helping their fellow candidates to send their UTME Examination Slips Manually to their email addresses or provide them direct links to their e-slip. We commend the efforts of these our great users. Please continue helping your fellow students.
If you would like us to help you, they will require two information from you;
1. The Email you used to register
2. Your JAMB registration number
You MUST provide the 2 information above, as a comment on this post if you want to be helped. We need this, just in case you registered with an incorrect email, we will be able to use your registration number to get your slip.
Bazehub helping people send their Exam Slips Manually, please you can either send it to the person’s email or provide the link that was generated after you helped the person check.
Bazehub Admin can not do this alone, that’s why we’re calling on you guys. As a community, we can achieve greater things.

Education / (NEW) JAMB Re-opens Portal For Correction Of Subjects Combination by MackHort(m): 4:00am On May 11, 2017
Gotten from http://bazehub.com.ng/2017/05/jamb-re-opens-portal-for-correction-of-jamb-utme-subjects-combination-re-opens-closes-10am-on-friday/

JAMB has re-opened the Correction of UTME Subjects Combination. According to JAMB, this procedure will close at exactly 10AM on Friday, 12th May, 2017.Please read the exact instructions posted by JAMB as follows;
“The window for correction UTME subjects combination is now available and closes by 10am on Friday May 12, 2017.
Please note that if your Examination date is Saturday May 13, 2017 and you correct your UTME subjects, you won’t be able to write your exam on that date again.
A new Examination date and time shall be communicated to you at a later time. The change in date of Examination does not affect other Examination dates.
Visit the nearest CBT Centre for this correction. The Change of UTME Subjects Combination is FREE!!!”
So with the above instruction, all those who still want to make this change should visit the Accredited CBT Centres to effect their changes.
If you visit any CBT centre and they are not aware of this, tell them it is a new instruction from JAMB and they should help you effect your changes.
Cheers.
