Forget all this shenanigans. He can govern well. What has those with big vocabularies achieved?

How can he govern well when he doesnt even understand that in electricity there is generation, transmission and distribution, even as a serving senator?

Will he be able to read MOUs and sign or he will just sign off the state?

OP, how on earth will you talk about the origin of Dangote refinery without you talking about the amount that was used to purchase the land? Oh so, you don't want the omoniles in Ibeju-Lekki to know the real amount that was paid for their lands?

Well, I will help you do that:

Let me use this opportunity to loud it that, Dangote paid the sum of $20m for the lands he built his refinery and fertilizer plants.

Fortunately, I was part of the fertilizer project from 2017 to early 2020.

Peace out!

Dangote said he used $100m to buy land.

Another obidient on the Loose again. This is not new. Even the Almighty America was threatened by Alqeada and Osama before America destroyed them at the end. So continue to support bandits against your country. If you know what is playing on Nigeria, you will.be shocked. Some of you are making the country to be ungovernable thinking that by doing so will make Obi or Atiku or Obi to win the next election. That's why all of you are suffering now. Obi will never ne president. That's for sure and Atiku is not an option. BAT will complete his 8 years.

Stop being delusional. Nobody threatens America on American soil. They will smoke you out in mins. Even the ones that threatened America outside American soil were smoked out.

Do you understand what is called territorial integrity of a Nation?

This is the hight of shamlessness, gross inconmpetence and arrogant failure on the path of government.

Then, all you have to do is implement the same policy in Igbo land.

And I am an Igbo man. My junior sister sat for Yoruba language during her WAEC, I encouraged her to do so. Today she's enjoying the benefits. She's well grounded in Igbo language too but could pass off as Yoruba

Funny enough, there are other Nigerian ethnic nations on Nairaland and I haven't seen them complaining, except Igbos.

Yet, we said we want Biafra but complaining against a clear strategy to hasten it. Note that we're not going to get it by noise making. Open your eyes. This is how to get it!!

We wont do that. We are not bigots. We dont feel threatned by anybody in Igboland. If you feel you have what it takes to do business in Igboland be successful please go ahead. Nobody have time for all these pettyness.

Amaka is an old lady when she travelled abroad. She is just like me and you.

Do you agree we have lot of Yoruba/Igbos abroad that can’t even speak their language and don’t know much about your culture and tradition.

If you stay abroad you’ll understand me. In that same Lagos, there are igbos that don’t speak Igbo but speak/understand Yoruba. You want to tell me that won’t have an influence on them?

And u dont think Amak will teach her children or her children will learn from her? stop decieving urself. The Igbo blood is very thick.

lol come to Atlanta and sample 10 random Ibo person that grew up in USA and did high school here.

Then contrast them to 10 random Igbo person in Enugu, and tell me if they all think alike or have same orientation.

Why will you be arguing against logic?

Dont worry, all our brothers abroad when they come back home we all attend our UMMUNNA meeting. No difference. The only thing they did in Atlanta is behaving like them when they are in Atlanta. It doesnt change who they are. Ever wondered why Amaka in Canada defended the Igbo race when Kingsley threatened to kill Igbo children?

You are just one person

There are alot of Igbos that understand Yoruba more than their Language and I know alot of them

Imagine what would happen when they have children, still in the SW...Over many generations, they'll assimilate into the culture

As for the socalled advantage, whats advantageous in learning a local language that u cant speak outside the shores of your country cheesy cheesy cheesy...Its why most Yorubas dont envy you guys in that regards. Plus, no be say dem wan relocate to your region tomorrow. So they care less about yours
Lol the Yoruba language we learnt helped us to penetrate the Yoruba market, make great success and dominate. The language helped us when buying lands in Lagos. Thats the Igboman for you. The Igboman doesnt need to be forced or coerced to learn or do what will be beneficial to him.

Walahi there is difference.

There is also difference in thinking for a Yoruba man living in Nigeria and those living in USA that grew up there and did high school there.

You are conflicting tribal identity with environmental influence.

There may be for a Yoruba man but for the Igboman there is none. Thats the difference

You won’t know, but it will shape your thinking.

When you teach kids Yoruba history at their young age, it play on their psyche and they tend to behave differently from those that grow up in other places.

If you go to Igboland today, you will think differently and your approach to things will be somehow different from people who spent their life in Enugu. You might not know it, but people will tell you themselves.

Really, You that dont know me is telling me how I am thinking. Really? Are you people not wondering why there seems to be no difference between the Igboman in Europe and the one in the village? Not to even talk of Lagos here. You people are yet to understand the Igbos if so.

Lol, My mum speaks Yoruba more than I do but till date apeaks her own native Owerri language. My Dad speaks French, Yoruba and Bambara language ( Mali). None of those influenced us or stopped us from speaking Igbo. I learnt Yoruba when I came to Lagos. You guys dont understand the uniquness of the Igbo tribe.

That’s what we want. Yorubanize them so they can think differently from people of the places they came from and assimilate properly, respect the tradition, and eschew bitterness.

This is applicable to all non-Yoruba ethnics, whether Hausa, Ibo, Fulani, Ijaw, or etc.

The superior culture must be taught to the kids so they can start “thinking in Yoruba” at their early stage so we won’t have people with bitterness for Yoruba amongst us in their numbers.

I speak Yoruba fluently, I know ur culture but it doesnt dilute one once of my Igbo blood. If you are conversant with events in Lagos, You would have noticed that a lot of Igbo people in Lagos speak Yoruba fluently. It is even a great advantage. Lol.

This is quite funny. A whole lot of Igbo people learnt yoruba language years ago before these funny power grabbers came to be. We learnt it because it helped us in our businesses and communicating better not because any bigot or power grabber persuaded us to.

Even before I came to Lagos, some of my kinsmen when they come back for xmas, speak Yoruba fluently in the vliiage. Trust me Igbo kids will speak both Yoruba and Igbo fluently, obviously having advantage anywhere amongst their pars. They will always excel EVEN in Lagos.

Thank God also this is limited to the dilapidated low standard, low quality Public schools. Private Schools to the rescue for other non speaking Yorubas.

Imagine an Indian, German, American or Hausa child being told to speak Yoruba before they will access education in a state the Lingual Franca is English, they will dump the already shitty public schools for quality education in Private Schools

Private schools to the rescue. Shitty Public schools for Shukura, Ayomide, Basira, Oluti, Rukka etc.
