One of the most important steps the government should take is to link every citizen’s DNA and Fingerprints to their existing identification systems like BVN or NIN. That alone would solve a significant portion of our security challenges.

Terrorists and criminals always leave traces, DNA, fingerprints, and other forensic evidence at crime scenes, and with a proper national DNA database, identifying them becomes far easier.

Nigeria needs to start taking forensic science and proper investigation seriously.

I've always wondered why it's that Nigerian president's rarely or almost never engage the press or do impromptu briefings like we see the American president do. Even the times they've gathered media bodies to ask questions, these are televised and edited videos where questions are already decalr3d and engagement highly monitored.

Apart from when reading speeches written by someone else, I can't recall seeing President Tinubu answering questions on state of the nation or on his government policies. His modus operandi have always been statements posted on social media or being represented ilby aides at events.

For example, you can see various clips of Trump taking questions from journalist on a wide array of topics and policies, which conveys that he is on ground and is actively a part of all decisions made.

I have never seen Pr3sident Tinubu granting a random press interview.
