Making Money Online With Private Label Rights (PLR) Contents. Private label rights is a concept used in internet marketing and derived from private labeling. It's a license where the author sells most or all of the intellectual property rights to their work. The license is defined by the author of the work and has no legal definition. Similar licenses include resell rights, also used in internet marketing. The license is used for various digital products such as articles, ebooks, software, graphic templates etc. Because there are many buyers of the same product, the price of a single unit is generally lower than if one would create a similar product from scratch (either by himself or by outsourcing). Below are 10 good ways to use PLR products: 1. Re-write them and post the articles to article directories. The crucial thing here is that you thoroughly re-write the content and make it your own. Ideally you want this to be to the point where your new article is unrecognisable from the original. Once you have done this, submit it to article directories and include a link back to your website. I’m sure you know roughly how article marketing works, so I won’t go into any detail here. 2. Package them up as a report: PLR articles can be quite easily made into a report or eBook. How? Simply find 20-30 articles which are based around a similar topic, then make each one into an individual chapter. So let’s say you want to create a report on blogging. Find a PLR article which gives an overview of blogging, another the advantages and disadvantages, another article which contains blog monetization strategies… you get the picture. You’ll probably have to tweak the articles a little, delete repetitions of similar information, and maybe add an introduction, but it’s far easier than writing an eBook from scratch. 3. Use them as autoresponder emails: One of the best ways to use PLR articles is to use each article as a message in your autoresponder email sequence. Adapt them a little so that you are talking directly to your subscribers, and add in your own stories or experiences which relate to the article. 4. Use them as blog content: This is a great use for PLR articles, however once again the most important thing is that you re-write them and make them unique to you. You’ll ideally need to re-write your articles to the same point as if you were submitting them to article directories as you don’t really want to be putting a lot of duplicate content onto your blog. 5.Find additional contents and create your own products. 6. Convert to videos for free traffic and branding. 7.Convert to MP3 for viral messages. 8. Offer as free bonus with own or affiliate products and increase your sales. 9. Starting any business is rich with excitement and anxiety. This is especially true when stepping into a home based business. All the questions about doing everything right and if I'll be successful are in every business owners mind when first starting up. The big difference between a home based business startup and a regular or more "formal" business startup is the comfort level in your own home can work against you getting anything actually done. Going into a store or an office focuses attention on the things that need done that day. Many typically have those "to-do" lists that outline the goals and objectives of the day. In a home based business however, it's easy to fall into the trap of not separating the business or work part of your life and the home and family part. The sofa or chair where you watch television is right in the other room, almost calling for you to take yet another break. Then there's the refrigerator and snack cabinet. Running a home based business, especially a startup one demands a certain discipline that works best if you compartmentalize your day. Work during times when you've decided to work and be "home" when you've decided to be home. If you set up a schedule that has you working in your home office from 8 am to noon, be at your desk working during those hours. Don't fall into the temptation to visit with the family or walk the dog during business or work time. Stay focused. One of the biggest problems with any home based business or working from home is having the flexibility to make changes in your work schedule. When first starting out in your own home business, stay as formal as possible. Keep business hours, or at least stay as close to the schedule you've set as possible. The reason for this is to set pattens in your own personal behavior that allow for the maximum potential for the business success. Later, you can relax a bit and add a little flexibility to the schedule. The key to a successful business no matter if it's a retail store, a technology related business, home based or office / retail based, is always the same. WORK! Home based businesses don't mean that there's less work. It means the business can be operated out of your home. The WORK part still is critical to your success. We're almost all seen how the corporate world wastes time in endless meetings. In a small business, we too can fall into patterns that keep us from doing the most important thing to assure success, and that's work. You are most likely coming here as a follow up to my articles on creating an online business. Today we are going to cover some advanced tips on comparing ads so that can help you get a better conversion rate. Lets assume for sake of argument that your site is created, published and you are running (PPC) ads. I recommend running these all the time, but especially in the beginning to get your site converting well. In fact when I signed up with my host they gave me advertising credits, which really helped out. This is very important! If you are running ads and you are not getting clicks then it means your ads are not standing out in the crowd. Believe me there are plenty of people on the Internet and you should be getting clicks. You want think about the products and services you are offering on your site when writing your ads. What type of ads would interest you if you were looking for these items.? As I mentioned before specific keywords bring up both your ads and others. You want your ads to spike their interest enough they will want to take a look. Okay, when writing your ads I want you to write two ads for each campaign. What does this mean? It means for each ad type you are going to be running two similar ads with the same keywords. On most search engines like Yahoo you can create an ad campaign, which then has your ads in it. You simply create your first ad inside the campaign, add your keywords and your finished with ad number 1. Now, I want you to go back into the ad campaign and create another a slightly different ad. It will automatically use the same keywords. In Yahoo, you will need to then go back to the campaign level, click on the ads and then click on optimize ads button. Please select no and submit. What will happen then is each of your two ads will run, each showing (50) fifty percent of the time. After some time has passed you will be able to tell by the conversion rate, which one is performing best. Simply modify the worst one with some new text and check it again after receiving more hits. You are always improving on your ads therefore your conversion rates only get better. You will need to let them run so that you get at least 50 - 100 clicks before changing. After getting someone to click on your ad, you want to take him or her to the specific landing page that offers exactly what he or she are looking for. Always remember the steps we talked about from beginning to end. It's very important to tie them all together nicely. A potential customer wants to click on an ad they think will take care of their needs and go to exactly the product or service they the ad referred to. Writing a free ebook is a great way to sell more affiliate products. The ebook can work for you in two different ways and I encourage you to use both methods in each free ebook you write. The first way is to promote affiliate links directly in your ebook where appropriate. You can casually mention a product in the body of a particular chapter, review a product as part of your ebook, or add an “Additional Resources” section to the end of the book. The second way is to link to your content site from your ebook. You can offer additional information on the site or link to a review page. By sending your readers to your website you get the chance to expose them to additional affiliate products and have the opportunity to get them on your newsletter list. Let’s take a look at how you can get started on your first ebook. Find a topic that you are fairly knowledgeable about and come up with an overall theme for the book. What are people looking for on the particular topic? For example, parents of infants will be interested in tips and strategies to get their baby to sleep through the night. A mom looking for a work at home job may be interested in how to spot a work at home scam and where to look for legitimate jobs. Come up with an outline, or group some related articles you have written on a particular topic. Now all you have to do is flesh it out a little bit and of course incorporate your affiliate links. An ebook typically consists of at least 25 pages. That may sound like a lot, but you should keep your font size fairly large to make it easier to read on a computer screen. Let’s talk about format for a moment. You can purchase software to create an ebook, or you can make it a PDF document. PDF documents will work on just about any computer and people are comfortable downloading them. I usually write my ebooks in Microsoft Word, format it in there, add any pictures or graphics and then turn it into a PFD. You can either do this with Microsoft Acrobat, or use one of the free PDF creation services on the web. Your next step will be to get the ebook circulating. After all you are not going to make any affiliate sales if no one reads your book. You can offer it as a free download on your site or give it away as a bonus for subscribing to your newsletter. I also like to add a note in the footer of each page that the reader is welcome to pass the book along to others who might be interested in the topic. Offer the ebook as a free giveaway to other website owners and post it on the free ebook directories. Then sit back and watch the book do the work for you. After a few weeks you should see the affiliate sales come in. Time to move on to another book.
