Have you heard about Tanzania elections. The president banned the two main opposition leaders from running, one is in prison awaiting treason charges for demanding reform to electoral laws.
During elections she won 97.66% of the vote ( 31 million) .Her party won 270/272 seats in parliament. Once their Elections Board declares a winner ,the decision cannot be challenged in court.
Protests and a few hundred dead ,She was sworn in.
I'm saying that voters today are very unpredictable.

But for the longest time everyone thought it’s just maternal age due to propaganda.

If you recall that women are born with all the eggs they’ll ever have in their lifetime. The female eggs last decades therefore it makes sense that eggs are more genetically stable than sperm cells that a significantly shorter time.

I think the problem is that the longest time, women have been made to believe their age is the only concern with reproduction. That men are good to go at any age. Unfortunately they are finding out now that it’s not true. Maybe if men prioritized youthful reproduction like they told women to do, we would have less birth abnormalities overall. The excerpt below explains it better than I can 🙂.

Women’s eggs do absolutely stand the test of time. Older women may find it harder to get pregnant but when they do, the age of the egg doesn’t affect the pregnancy outcome.

But men’s sperm age absolutely does affect pregnancy outcomes including but not limited to chromosomal abnormalities, miscarriages and even the symptoms the woman experiences while she’s pregnant.

I don’t think I blame them anyway. If I grew up hearing that I don’t have a biological clock, it would be hard to convince me otherwise at a later stage in life.
