The recruitment exercise was suspended indefinitely. I wrote the skills test for Earth Scientist position. I have contacted everyone else (directly or indirectly) who wrote that same exam (we were about 30) and no one has heard from them since. I even met one of Chevron's HR representative at a conference in Lagos and he confirmed that the exercise has been suspended although he declined to give reasons. If your classmate got into chwvron, good luck to him. There are many other ways in Nigeria to join a company. Let us leave Chevron and focus on Oando.

If they can't give you enough to cover your return trip, they should at least give you part to subsidize your transportation.

If the interview will be in lagos, I hope they will give transportation allowance or subsidy to those coming from other parts of the country.

When you say close do you mean they will completely shutdown production till new year? or you mean that they will be operating on essential staff only (upstream staff), while most of the admin staff will observe their vacations.

The wait for Oando interview invitation continues. I hear they will be closing on the 23rd. Keep hope alive.
