pius4luv:Australian education is very costly, there is no tuition free at all. If u want to study in Australia, u must have a lot of money. Unlike the UK where u only need to show maintainance fund and tuition fee, u need to show fund covering tuition fee, return air fee, living expenses(maintainance) for urself and dependants (ie ur wife and children if any) for the first 2 yrs. The living expenses is AUD12,000 per yr, but as from Jan., 2010, it will be AUD18,000. In addition, Australia High Commissions are very strict and they group all countries into assessment levels. Nigeria is in Assessment Level 3 (AL3) U can check: www.immi.gov.au for details. |
U're welcome. If u have furtther question(s), feel free to post them here. |
Check this site: www.infozee.com/ausadmit/universities.htm U will get the information required there. |
U guys are too good, keep it up. No scam is entertained here. I must confess I really like this. Scammers in the name of visa agents will treck home this december! No way for scammers, infact I hate them with passion. |
symbian03:What about Australia? Anyone in Australia? |
@poster Go to British council at Thompson Avenue, Ikoyi-Lagos for more info. The exam is not hard except the listening aspect as Phemad has said. |
Yes EMS is available in all the big post offices in Nigeria. U can use anyone of them, they are all good. |
NIPOST is very good. U can use NIPOST if u don't have enough money or better still u can use EMS at the same NIPOST and u will be able to track your mail. I think EMS will not be more than 3 working days, cos I used EMS last week to send some docs. to Australia and got delivered yestarday, so about 4 working days. |
@mevisbleek, NIPOST is very effective now, I posted some docs. thru NIPOST to Australia this month and was delivered in just 8 working days approximately 2weeks. Australia is very far and was deliverd in just 2weeks how much more Norway that is not too far. @pius4luv, u can use NIPOST if u don't have enough money or better still u can use EMS at the same NIPOST and u will be able to track your mail. @ell77, thanks for ur contributions on this thread. Pls I have an offer to study in Australia(Feb., 2010). I got part of the fund I will use for this 2yrs masters program from my busines(I am self employed), the remaining part of the fund was given to me by my sister. The Australian Embassyy require evidence of source of fund e.g Tax Clearance Certificate, Income tax, pay slips or other evidence of regular income. e.t.c. My question is that the money in my account balance does not tally with the Tax Statement, can I include only my receipts, some documents of business transactions and my business registration certtificate? Pls advise me. Thanks. |
@poster, it seems the address is not correct or not functionig because I sent my cv but the message failed. Pls check the address and reply. Thanks. |

Hi house members that know about Australian student visa should reply to this post. I need ur reply urgently, pls. |
Please fellow nairalanders, I am a business man and I want to apply for Australian student visa. The funding is basically from my business which I registered as an enterprise. Should I present tax statement/ documents of business registration? Someone also told me if I am single(not yet married), they might not give me the visa. I am somehow confused. House advise me on what to do because I don't want to make any mistake that will result in visa denial. Pls I need ur advice nairalanders. |
@poster, pls return the money and inform them about the mistake. God bless u. |
