The University of Benin (UNIBEN) AdmissionScreening Exercise for 2017/2018 Academic Session; to be conducted by UNIBEN CONSULT NIGERIA LIMITED,will take place between 14th September, 2017and 25th September, 2017 in designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus of the University. The Screening Exercise shall be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest one hour before the stipulated time for their screening exercise.
PLEASE NOTE: Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2017/2018 UTME Admission and chose University of Benin as First Choice and scored 200 and above are eligible for this Screening Exercise.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:
All applications should be made between 8.00am 30th August 2017 and Midnight 9th September 2017.

The procedure for the 2017/2018 Admission Screening application is as follows:

Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.

Visit uniben.edu
Click on Student Portal
Click on WAEUP Portal .
Then Click Application at the top left of the display page to proceed.
Select the 2017/2018 Admission Screening Application.
Click on Register for Application
Enter your Surname exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip and your JAMB Registration Number immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser.
On the https://uniben.waeup.orgclick on ‘Login’ (top right of front page).
Enter your Username and the password to login.
To start the application process, please click on‘Application record’, provide all required informationand upload your passport photograph.
Upload a RECENT and CLEAR “1×1” COLOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WITH RED BACKGROUND INJPEG FORMAT ONLY. Great care should also be taken to follow the specified formats on the UNIBEN website and portal. NOTE that the photograph uploaded will be the only valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their stay in the University of Benin. FAILURE TO UPLOAD THESPECIFIED PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH WILL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION and failure/forfeiture of admission.
To pay for the Application, click on“Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay Via Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N 2,000:00; (The fee excludes other charges),the admission screening exercise past questions forN1,500:00 (optional); excluding Services charges with a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria
A link is displayed “Download past questions to practice upon successful payment.
Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
Go back online on the appointed date to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule.

My brother, it will be very difficult, d truth be told. Be ready to score as high as 94 in putme to enable you get an aggregate of 75. But even with 75 ur chances are still slim due to how competitive it is. But miracles do happen, wat is it dat God cannot do? I've seen som1 with an aggregate of 65 get admitted to medicine (although the persons state matters). So go for it if you are strong enough or else, I'd advise for a change of course.

hello, I applied for pharmacy in uniben nd I had 294 in jamb. however am making use of two o'level sittings. pls I'd like to know if am going to be seriously affected by the two sittings or if I can change to a single sitting though I have lower grades..

and how is admission going to be given if putme will be conducted..is dere any way to calculate an aggregate score to so one can have a target score for putme..thanks in reply..

My dear, two sittings is allowed in pharmacy, now u'd be d luckiest if putme wud be conducted cos two sittings wud have lowered ur points in d point system. Pray for putme and start now to prepare for it cos there's no time. I'll be so glad to personally welcome you to d great faculty of pharmacy (am in 600L)

my Bro I've not oh, I got angry and did not register for 2016 jamb, I just silently went back to my shell and study like mad.
This year's result is swell, I just hope Uniben's post utme will be fair cos right now I don't where to look.

How do I get uniben past question?

It is well my brother, dis year won't pass you by. Dey sell d past questions in skul, you can come get one if you are close by, if you are not, just use jamb past questions

oo, my question now is, how are gonna prepare for this year's exam. should we be reading 15's past postume questions or use jamb syllabus? cos I know uniben will definitely conduct exams.

Read all Uniben past questions as much as you can get, if you can't get any read jamb past questions...almost same thing. Also get knowledge on current affairs, very important

my brother that was how they messed me up in UNN 2015 after my awesome jamb score I went there and flopped. That was when there was controversies with jamb when some names were transferred to other schools bla bla bla

Mehn it was as if my village people came to exam hall with me. I just went blank. After studying for six hours everyday for five months I still missed 200 by a mark and policy was that if you don't score two hundred and above, nothing for you irrespective of your jamb score.

Good evening pple, am Majestic 600l pharmacy dept UNIBEN, it's really been a while since I came on dis forum, d last time was 2012 wen I was still a UNIBEN aspirant...how time flies. Dis forum has always been of help in terms of information, both reliable and reLIEable ones, lol. Please all those dat has made it cross the 200mark, I'll strongly advise you begin now to prepare for putme, there's no time for delay, if there's any skul dat will be so happy dat putme is back I think it will be UNIBEN.
