Justcash: All of you that are blaming GEJ for this one are very daft. He is refurbishing the rail system. Is it not the duty of the masses to guard and ensure that these infrastructures are operated efficiently? The people that are to blame for this rot are;
A. The masses that prefer to hang like monkeys on top of the coaches instead of sitting like decent people inside.
B. The inefficiency of the masses that got employed after these trains were brought back to life.
C. The illiterate masses that cannot just be patient on order for the coaches to be operated within its capacity.
D. The preference of the masses for short cuts even if it implies indulging in corrupt practices.
E. The chaotic orientation of the Nigerian masses.
F. The Spineless masses that cannot exercise their civic rights by demanding for orderly conduct through legal means.

Everything is not about the FG. You will just be surprised at the kind of criticism and antagonism that will come from the masses following any plan by the FG to restore order through coercion. Nonsense.

fatdon2: In what looks likes the Lagos State government’s arrangement towards getting a replacement for the commercial motorcycle transport system (popularly called Okada), a cable car company, Ropeways Transport Limited, is set to launch a cable car mass urban transit system in the nation’s commercial capital.

This is as a result of the signing of a 30-year Franchise Agreement by Ropeways Transport Limited, the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA) and the Lagos State Government recently.

According to the Tribune, which reported the story, under the terms of the agreement, Ropeways Transport will this November begin the construction of towers, stations and connecting network cables along various routes covered in the first phase of the project, namely, Ijora–Iddo, Iddo–Adeniji, Apapa–Oluwole, Oluwole–Adeniji, Adeniji–Obalende, Obalende–Falomo, and Falomo–Victoria Island, just as the project is expected to be fully completed and commissioned by early 2015.

Boyoorisha: According to the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, former President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan worshiped together at the Aso Rock Villa Chapel earlier today.

Abati tweeted, “Fmr President Obasanjo attends church service today at the Aso Rock Villa Chapel.”

Both men also reportedly had lunch together.

Hon. Farouk Lawan showed up on court yesterday to face the music concerning his alleged bribe collection in order to jeopardize the fuel subsidy probe.

The boyish looking speaker was obviously tired before he got to the courthouse and even fell asleep during the proceedings. Unfortunately the judge remanded him to the custody of prisons until February 9th.
