Thanks a lot for the education. But I've seen on some online stores where the global version and the global ROM are sold as different entities, that makes me conclude the global ROM is the chinese version. And there shouldn't be any marked difference between the two versions anyway.

for Global rom the distributor installs a ROM able to mimic perfectly the global version, with multi language and without bloat wares, but GLOBAL VERSION comes officially from the company.

Compared to the closest competitor the honor note 10, its a steal. For the size, its one of the biggest phablet out there, but with an 18:9 ratio it will fit perfectly in the palm, but its a two hand phone regardless. I ordered for it because for me, am tired of caring charger everywhere, it doesn't have the snappiest chipset as it spawns the snapdragon 636 on the redmi note 5 but that ba3 man, for a Nigerian, its super sayian level.

The global ROM is not the Chinese version, its factory installed global version not the official global version but it works fine
