She however, noted that if she were a man, she wouldn’t marry a virgin neither would she walk a ‘Garbage’ down the altar.”

“In as much as I’m not innocent of the act, I still wouldn’t hesitate to admit that sex between two unmarried people all in the name of being in a relationship still remains the number one thing I detest the most.
For how long are we gon be fooling ourselves..? Ehn? For how long? Like do you have any idea about how many guys some girls date and have series and countless number of sex with before they eventually get married? Do you?
It’s just so bizarre. Of course it’s not the same with all girls but the majority are guilty. No one’s a saint but at least apply decency. The
truth is, guys gossip too and sometimes it’s
about girls.
Quite frankly I do not mean to disrespect anyone but I see no difference between a so called “Girlfriend” and a so called “Runs girl” as you may call it. The two of them have sex with a guy and directly or indirectly collects money from the guy.
What? You want to say what? That it’s different? That feelings is involved in the other one? You’re mad! And if you dare open that mouth ehn, thunder will fire you. I’m telling you the bitter truth and you want to open your mouth and say rubbish. You wouldn’t even dare. Mtcheeeeew.
Girlfriend o, runs girl o, Hore o, Olosho o, all of them are fornicators and therefore are in the same category. If you’re a virgin u’re excluded. If you’ve only had sex with one or two guys or even three at most then you also can be excluded. But u see the rest of u ehn..Hmmmm.
For una left mind, in case you didn’t know some girls have slept with just one guy but just that one guy has done with them what 5guys wouldn’t even do with another girl. So, don’t be deceived. The point is, be body cautious. My sister, it’s your body, don’t let any oloriburuku come and over use it for u. You’re not a machine, everything has its limits and too much of anything at all has its consequences.

truth is, I do not have intentions of getting married to a virgin but I’d never walk a “Garbage” down the alter. I’d never take such home to my beloved mom. I know this post is going to spark fire and some would definitely throw shades at me.

Association of People with Disabilities in Kebbi on Tuesday appealed to the state Governor, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, to appoint members as special advisers for a sense of belonging.

The Chairman of the association, Malam Muhammad Argungu, made the appeal in Birnin Kebbi when he led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the governor.

He said the appointment of members of the association as special advisers would ensure their access to government and enable them to contribute to the state’s policy and decision making.

He also appealed for award of scholarship to children of the members of the association schooling
in tertiary institutions.

He said “we want to appeal for offer of employment of our members, especially as they have been trained in many skills for self sustenance.”

In his remarks, Gov. Bagudu directed the association to channel its requests through their Emirate councils.

He donated 1,000 pieces of brocade to the association. (NAN)

Former Vice President, Abubakar Atiku on Thursday listed some of his companies in a tensed twitter conversation over allegation that he owned Mikano, the generating plant company and may end Nigerian up in darkness should he become President in 2019.

A twitter user, @adewoleade, has accused him that the companies he own were set up by looted funds from 1999 to 2007 when he was the country's vice President.

Another user, Sobajo‏ @najash_sani said Gotel communications in 2008, A.U.N & Faro were both funded in 2004.

The former vice president listed some of his comapnies as NICOTES (now Intels) founded in 1989., Prodeco, 1996, his farm, 1982 and ABTI schools, 1992 .

I am Kehinde Onaopemipo Adeola, A native of Oyo state, a computer Scientist and a professional barber amongst others.


It's been 9 years now that I've been a barber.

A year after I left secondary school, I started barbing a month after I started learning because it was what I wanted, a passion .

I gained admission in the university 2010 , despite signing just one year with my boss, I begged him not to release me yet. All my holidays, I report there. Even while in school, I joined a guy that has a shop in school, when everyone goes to their hostel, I remained in school, and we share the outcome.

While learning, because I learnt in a ghetto, I had choice to learn somewhere better but , I know I won't learn anything, so I chose that place myself and thanks to my parent that didn't tell me to choose something feminine rather. I gave them two options, a mechanic and a barber, but the way mechanics look like melanin turned me off and I would not lie, I just be tom boy for eye.. I be soaked bread, I can't lift car jack mbok. Spanner can throw me away and the fact that the risk is high, so I should go and spoil May weather's car? Or one soldier bike? I don't have a WILL yet na.

I know the smell of all the cigarette,even their grandpa ,IGBO, slangs, and almost all the tout in the area. Because it's a barbing saloon, my boss was and is good.

We sell musical DVD and play music too as a form of adverisement too, we also run DJ every Friday. But trust me, I wasn't moved nor carried away. What would have moved me didn't happen, I was scared my boss will make advances to me or give me out to the numerous tout begging him to give me to them. But ,no, nothing of such, he protected me like his eye. I only did some hemps and alcohol buying. Part of life, yeah.

The day I spoilt one Tout hair sha, his slap made me ask if truly barbing is my calling. He was drunk and was sleeping o, shaking head. But when hair spoilt, uncle woke up..

Towards the end, things took a new shape, it was when I asked where I was going and wanted more experience in a Behind and more sane environment of course ,besides, I already graduated then and I had to fend for my 8 years old daughter so I needed to work at least as a stylist. My Boss turned something else. He said I'll work 6 months before he releases me or give me anything called certificate. And I personally know that if I don't comply, I won't be able to practice in that town, their union is that strong.

He started treating me like an APPRENTICE that I am far, I sweep, I mop, I buy him food, wash his bike ,what juniors do o, talks to me anyhow in customers presence, rubbish the school I went to, sends me back home if I resume late and add to the months ,he makes me close later than before, apparently, I cry everyday to work and at work. I knew devil was sorting fire with my picture sha. I was so frustrated I wanted to stop going. When I was sick and was at home, he added to the days when I was fit.

Then Mother on the other hand started feeling awkward, while my boss was saying I went to school to be dumb, Mum was saying I'm a graduate and should be treated with respect. One of the days I came back late, she locked me out . And her hospital isn't far from home ,I just went to the window of her room to tell her " see, me I'm going to the hospital to sleep oo " may be it's your daddy's people own, you'll tell me" she said " ehen you too, go to your mummy's own. I said before she laughed and let me in.

Another day she emotionally blackmailed me saying " If I was the one that bore you, go to that work today, mehn, I had to pet her ehen before she allowed me again. When the frustration was too much, I got a bicycle ( what I do when depressed, I gift myself) so seeing it, it gives me one hope like that, the day me and bicycle and oga food ended up in the gutter ehen. I gave my life to Christ that day. What didn't I hear? I wished he beat me self, than the words, they hurt like a porcupine skin. 6 months looked like six years.

Fast forward to graduation day, you won't believe boss was soaked in tears sha? Uncle kilode? You lost my certificate? no just use scam tears, i no learn again, 5 years fa? ,I murmured, And then he said.:

" Ope, despite the fact that I frustrated you, and Mum also gave you tough time, you didn't back out, I will miss you, Today's prayers will just be like eye service because I have prayed for you long ago"

Shuu!!! Bros so na intentional?? Hey God!!!

Immediately I remembered what my eyes saw like this, I just broke down in tears.

That place taught me patience
It taught me perseverance 
It taught me tolerance

And that Job has fed me and fed nations. What my school certificate haven't even done.

When the challenges come and I want to quit, I remember the time I invested in it, The 3 days old child I took from the dead mother and promised to be there for, I lace my shoe and fire down.

Sometimes it takes just few minutes for something great to happen to us , but a little road block will come and pull a stunt . Don't be bothered or drawn back, accelerate further, the sky will be your starting point.

President Muhammadu Buhari may travel to New York for the 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 72).

President Buhari, who returned to the country last Saturday has hit the ground morning.

On Monday, he received briefing from Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and expected to hold the Council of State meeting soon.

The President, though, working from the office in his residence, also met with the Service chiefs on Tuesday, in what is unconnected to terrorist activities in the country.

Several engagements have been lined up for the president this week and the next, credible sources told Dailytrust newspaper.

“Buhari is likely to attend the 72nd Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 72) coming up in New York on Tuesday, September 12.”, another source said.

The Lagos Government has said that it will begin the sales of lake rice on Thursday, August 24 in various centre across the state ahead of the forthcoming Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Hon Oluwatoyin Suarau, who disclosed in his office in the Alausa Ikeja, states that the Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwumi Ambode has approved some centres for the distribution and sales of the rice.

These include the 57 Local Government and Local Council Development Areas; the Agricultural Development Area Complex, Oko-oba, Agege; LTV Blue Roof Complex, Agidingbi, Ikeja, and other designated centers across the state.

He restated that the prices remained the same as N12,000 for 50kg bag, N6,000 for 25kg , and N2,500 for 10kg.

According to the commissioner, the rice is for all Lagosians, irrespective of their religion or tribes.

He reiterated that the present administration will continue to ensure adequate production and a fair

Hon. Ibrahim Ishola, representing ward C orile Agege Lcda, prevailed on a suspected kidnapper from been lynched by angry residents, at Oshodi street, Oko-Oba, Agege.

The Unknown Man was apprehended wearing 3 different cloths together with a black Toy Gun, 2 different ID CARDS, a YAM&BREAD in a black Sack.

The kidnapper's victim (little boy) was rescued from a BIG Sack where he kept him.

Residents of the Street named “OSHODI STREET” in Orile-AGEGE, Lagos State were alerted by passersby when they noticed the suspicious movement of the alleged kidnapper.

The residents quickly conducted a searched on him and all the above listed items were found in his Custody including the kidnapped boy in a BIG Sack.

The aggrieved residents almost took the law into their hands as they started throwing Stones at him, hitting him with clubs and different dangerous weapons with the aim of lynching him to death.

It took the quick and timely intervention of the Newly elected Hon. Councillor representing the Community, Hon. Ibrahim OBANLA as he came to the rescue of the suspect and prevented the people from killing the suspected kidnapper.

The honourable Councillor too was slightly injured while he was preventing the people from serving the suspect with JUNGLE JUSTICE.

He immediately alerted AGEGE ABATTOIR POLICE STATION and the suspect was handed over to the Police Officers who arrived the Venue quickly.

Hon. OBANLA implored the people of the Community not to panic. he assured them that the Nigeria Police force will do the needful and Justice will be served according to the Law.

Ishola advised the people of ORILE-AGEGE, especially residents of his community to desist from any form of Violence and JUNGLE JUSTICE, and report any suspected case to the appropriate security agencies.

The little boy was latter handed over to his mother and taken away.

President Buhari’s may leave for another Medical Checkup says his spokesman, Femi Adesina while speaking on Sunrise Daily on Channels TV Monday morning, however called on Nigerians to pray that Buhari remains hale and hearty.

“What Nigerians should hope for is that our president will remain whole. But if there is any reason to go out why not, you need to first stay alive before you can lead a country so whatever it takes for our president to remain healthy should be done but we want to hope and believe that the worst is over,” he said.

The President who had been in the UK for 104 days before returning on Saturday, addressed the nation on Monday and Adesina confirmed he is ready to resume office, as he will notify the National Assembly in writing.

“Later this morning, that letter will be transmitted and which is what signifies his coming back into office – It will be done today.

“They don’t have to read it or debate it, No. What the Constitution requires is for him to send it. Once it is sent he assumes office,” Adesina added.
