The 2016 CLA45 AMG would have been a better alternative as against the CLA250.

Yes, 208 vs 375

I am just not attracted to AMGs.

At least, for now.

By the way, the Mercedes-Benz 170 Sport-Roadster (1934) of 23/32 kw/hp is much more expensive than both cars (combined) that you said you have.
It cost about GBP 260,000 which is about N123m.
Does it matter? grin

That is not the issue, I never mentioned price. Heck, if you were to lay your hands on the car Adolf Hitler used, you'd sell it for nearly the price of the Veyron. The point is this in summary.
Talking about pre-dated vehicles helps not so much, unless of course, 99% of the readers are using such. Then it's all fine.
Me as a case study, I had issues with my MAP sensor and came to the Benz thread. Having read all though the pages, couldn't find anything
helpful with the exception of the EIS issues mentioned. A friendly visit to Gazzuzz (a good friend) sorted out that issue.
Which shoulda been sorted a long time ago if more of the comments were about up-to-date technology.

There would be really no need for that. That's childish.
If you had for a pic of my garage, I might oblige you.
Still doesnt prove anything. Could be somebody else's garage !

Tell us about the latter.

In summary, its a seriously underpowered car.
But the aesthetics are to die for !!!
So its more or less, a status symbol

What benz are you using?

2008 C300 4Matic Sport
2016 CLA 250 4matic

Does it matter ?

This thread is so uninspiring.

Na so so pre-colonial era Benz full here.

Not inspiring at all.

That is a South African OAP dancing to a song. They just superimposed a Ghanian song on the video.

For those always saying that big ass is sh1t, it isn't. It is fat (excess carbohydrate is converted to fats, and some women's fat are converted more in the ass/hips than other areas). There is no sh1t in the ass. It just makes a woman attractive (if the fat is stored in the right places, not improper fraction kind) to some men who likes cushion for the pushing and the jiggly view.

In all, what makes a woman attractive to us is in our heads.

But, Dele isn't supposed to post this kind of video.

The literacy index in Nigeria is abysmally low.
What do you expect from people who skipped biology classes and don't know that solid waste is stored in the rectum, a part of the large intestine !!!
The ass is purely fat !!!

At all...there is no light on the dash.. But does w123 old benz has 'check engine light'?

I am too lazy to check but on-board diagnostics started as far back as 1968 with a volkwagen

The more compliant OBD2 came on board around 1996.

Is your vehicle dated further back than these dates?? lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Yes, 1976 - 1986 model . . . You should have OBD1 if I am not mistaken

Dear Sirs..

I really don't want my mechanic to start trial and error.. Please what should I tell him to check..

Is there a check engine light ?

Hmmmmm! I have personally never done this TDS test but the very nature of how AC condensate water is generated makes me doubt the possibility.

I suspect the container used to capture the water or the AC drain pipe has dirt or sediments that are corrupting the results - if you are able, you should let the AC run well for like an hour to clean out the pipe before you capture water for the test.

I would really be happy to know as I have a lot of people (including me) who use AC condensate water for batteries, car radiator and ironing (steam).

His test is flawed, cos he has to use a sterile container.
And like you said, even the drain pipe might be old and dirty.

Upgrade your shop. If you are unsure go and sign with Oluwaseunla for 6 months.

Don't say what you don't know. When Gazzuzz says 3 brands only (toyota/lexus, kia/hyundai, honda/acura) plus the recent Ford;
I just laugh my ass out. F*ck that.
I was at Gazzuzz' garage today as early as 7am
And guess what? I took a C300 there; and he did a record fix, less than 20minutes
something that had been troubling me for months.
If you know; you know

That is the spirit my Oga. grin

Personally I was a skeptic and thought little of a 'Chinese clone CC' until I reluctantly bought a test unit of the 60a Victron clone Fangpusun from JUO and was pleasantly surprised to find it giving almost the same yield as my MorningStar.

Of course my brand loyalty (read MorningStar fanboyism grin) prevailed but I have since bought and used many more units for budget client installations and no regrets so far. Those clone Fanpusuns pack one helluva punch in a compact form factor and they track well too.

True talk; put out the same charging stats as my Morningstar . . .

Wow! What brand? May be you should also review other brand of boosters or substitute with the fuel cleaner. That's why i asked the question if the fuel cleaner is preferable when compared to the octane booster.

The "acclaimed" Johnsen's brand...

Yes, I think I would try my hands on fuel treatment instead and see what happens next.

Ok. How long have you been using the octane booster and do you make use of it consistently?

Only on every fill-up. Just gone through about 10 bottles or so
Car Talk / Re: Nwanneni's Road To Recovery by makavele: 9:02pm On Oct 23, 2018
sacramento1212:

There are many Octane boosters in the market claiming it will boost the octane points and all but in reality very few do the job. Yes, i also read online that continous usage of the octane booster will affect the O2 sensor and the catalytic converter so you should watch out for your cat. Do you have a check engine light already?

That's the reason why i want to find out if it's better one make use of the fuel treatment than the boosters. I also read reviews about Techron made by Chevron and customers testifying to the effectiveness of the product.

Sure the check engine is lit and it points to the aforementioned. So I wont be driving it much until I get the O2 sensor replaced.

It's a Mercedes E350. I still await your response radautoworks

I use Octane Boosters on my mercedes, give it a little more mileage, just a tad, from my calculations. I guess it makes the fuel burn slower.
But guess what? It just killed an O2 sensor.
And from what I read online, it can. Now I am scared for my cat.

I think they are using a generic scanner. I recently got somwthing very close to the star scanner, 99.9% close and yes, it would indicate all faults, from a bad sliding roof to transmission to airbag to SAM issues. Battery registration etc
Somebody lowered the back seat and didnt latch it properly and the scanner got it. Badass!!!

My brother I am not bragging but I can hold my own financially. Let's not measure the size of our d**ks on a faceless forum. I don't use a car for more than a year and resale value isn't a thing for me.

This is a dialogue; and not a comparison thread.
Thank you.

Tpound might just be right o. Still had a discussion this evening where someone with 3.6 mil wanted to go for a Nigerian used car. I respect his preference, not just sure I will normally go that route.

I respect his preference too; but as far as Nigeria is concerned, it boils down to economy/cash. The same person who wanted to get the naija-used for 3.6 mil but just wanted a quick shortcut; as a tokunbo will definitely cost more, say in the 4.5 - 5m range.
You actually get to a stage(or perhaps, status) in life, where you will resent even buying a 2017 production year car, in 2018; etc;
and you will ONLY want to drive the latest production car for the current year.
Unless, perhaps you are a collector; or you have an unwavering love for classic cars.

Please don't say that...

Preference is key.

What rocks his boat might sink yours

If he had a million dollars spare liquid cash, he wont even consider tokunbo, how much more naija used.
