Gajagojo:

If reading chart is that important everyone would learn how to read charts and become unbelievably rich.
Reality is all that chart reading carp is no better than going tons babalawo.
Not relevant in the real world

Wrong. Not everyone can read charts. Even those that can may not have the state of mind to risk money. Some of the richest people on earth read stock market charts and invested. Even those that can't read them employ people who can, otherwise you won't have trillion dollar stock brokerage industry.

If you know how to read charts, you'd know what happened is called a dip. It will find a base at an equilibrium that balances those betting for the naira (government) and those for dollar (market speculators). What you should ask yourself is "How many people are willing to support the naira at this price through production and earning the dollar? And how many people are hungry for the dollar to escape impending naira crash and to do business (politicians, the rich and importers). As long as the underlying causes are not tackled, it's merely an entry point for speculators because many deep pockets will gain positions at this point only to cash out when it goes right up. That dip is a mere consolidation phase. In fact, this dip fools no one but shows desperation and market action based on fundamental factors. A real recovery happens slowly. What you see on that chart is just an opportunity for the rich to make more money off further impending naira crash. It's primary economics. If you don't produce and export, it's hopeless hoping.

Deadlytruth:

It takes less than a vision for anyone to know that Obi is a bigger disaster than Tinubu.
After all, majority of his own Anambrarians adjudged his governorship a failure but had to change tune in 2023 just because they felt he was the candidate of their ethnic extraction. So you Igbos are guiltier of the tribalism you are quick to accuse Yorubas of. Come to think of it, more Yorubas voted for Obi than the extremely few Igbos who voted for Tinubu. Obi won in many Yoruba dominated LGAs in Lagos and some other SW states while Tinubu lost in all the five SE states. So who between Yorubas and Igbos is more tribalistic?

Borrowing started under Jonathan, Buhari came in with little left in our treasury, so he continued Borrowing. When lenders started to get uneasy he used our future oil earnings as collateral.
By the end of Buhari's tenure Nigeria was dead broke.

Lies. Nigeria has been in debt since the days of Gowon. It was Obasanjo under smart IBO brains like Soludo, Ezekwesili and Okonjo Iweala that Nigeria cleared most of its debt. Even the Americans described this economic team made up of Ibos as a "crack team". No wonder they grabbed Ngozi and Ezekwsili to work for them. Things started falling apart again under Buhari who had no economic plan and Tinubu, who is a higher version of Buhari. What they both have in common is sidelining IBO's without having people with grey matter to do what the IBO's are capable of

Take it or leave it.
Nepotism is what has brought Nigeria to it's kneel.
When Buhari came to power, he appointed so many incompetent people to hold sensitive positions simply because they are his kinsmen.
Competence meant nothing to him. Then Tinubuu came in and followed same path.
Now Nigeria is crawling on it's kneel.

Not crawling o. Standing still. Let's hope it keeps standing because ebin pawa is real.

Remove GEJ he actually started this mess when he was about leaving the government. They did a lot of rubbish after Buhari won him and he took vengeance in distablizing everything and other rubbish before handing over to Buhari and Buhari could not do anything meaningful as well and Tinubu came in to meet this huge mess and it has led us to where we are today.

These men understood the ingenuity of the IBO's and used them as the bulwark of their economic policies.

Immediately Buhari and Tinubu grabbed power, they thought they could do without the IBO's....

Surprised to see Edo there. The same Edo you lots demonized beginning from 2015 for giving buhari as much as 40% of their votes and because of that you began to label them semi yorubas have suddenly again become a people who vote correctly just because just a part of Edo voted for your brother Obi this time around. Very funny and emotional people called Igbos. I honestly keep wondering where all this sudden uturn about Edo is coming from after seven years of demonization of them by you lots.

It takes a man with vision to know Tinubu is a disaster na. At least Edo people realized they made a mistake with Buhari, but Yoruba never dis and will still vote foolishly next time only to cry EBIN PAWA o.

You lots used to say here that Edo is not supposed to be part of the SS because Edo votes wrongly against the other five SS states but today you have implicitly avered that in the entire SS only Edo votes correctly just because in the last presidential election Obi got the highest percentage in Edo and had lesser percentages in other SS states. See how inconsistent you lots could be because of emotions?

Obi won all of SE SS MB Lagos, Abuja and more despite vote suppression in the north,

If Igbos have always voted correctly, then who at Independence joined the feudalisic NPC in voting for Tafawa Balewa instead of their own Zik whom they now eulogize as Zik of Africa? So The Tofa you Igbos voted for in 1993 was better than MKO? And the Shagari you voted for in 1979 was better than your own Azikiwe? The Yaradua you voted for in 2007 was better than Ojukwu who produced the best manifesto that year? Then Obasanjo was better than Olu Falae in 1999? You people should just look the way of comedy

Igbo backed NPC and the north when it became obvious that Yoruba are the most tribalistic tribe in Nigeria. At a time a Fulani was winning election in Enugu as a mayor, Awolowo and his tribalistic goons were attending night meetings to make sure omoibo neverwas accepted in the SW. The same thing Sanwo Olu and Tinubu are doing today. Have you heard any Igbo destroy people's property in the East? Level pass level na.

Politics / Benue Plateau, How Do You Guys Hope To Survive This Ethnic Cleansing? by makemoneywbsite: 8:03pm On Feb 20
Most genocides that have taken place in Africa happened with the backing of colonial powers. In Biafra, it was Britain backing Nigeria to murder the Igbos. In Rwanda, it was the Belgian and French thhat backed the Hutus to murder the Tutsis. However, what is happening in the Middlebelt is unprecedented. This is because no one is actually serious to talk about it. So it'll likely keep happening until whole tribes are wiped off the face of the earth.

What helped the Tutsis was the RPF led by Paul Kegame. What helped the RPF was Uganda, a Tutsi-friendly country and the fact that Tutsi refugees were already settled in the country. What can help the Middlebelt? Who are their friends? Which country can defend them from the marauding Fulani militia? It has become increasingly obvious that the people of Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Taraba and to some extent, Nasarawa and Kogi are left to their devices. So who will save the Middlebelt?

These are stupid defence lines that fail to address the important issues raised by the Op.

Why are your region and the allied north destroying the country??

History won't forget that, even if you keep shifting attention by listing the names the Igbos themselves don't like.

The Igbos will never bring out people like Chimaroke, Orji Kalu, Ikpeazu, Obiano, Ekweremadu, etc, to rule Nigeria, in sharp contrast to you insensitive bigots who bring out the worst from amongst you to destroy the country.

I thought of the bolded. The question is why? The North will never support a competent northerner and Yoruba will never support a competent Yoruba. Did you notice how they opposed Obasanjo, and recently Osinbajo. Do you know why? Those are not bigots who had the potential to "steal for my tribe." These people do not belive in equity but cheating and injustice. Why do you think they're ganging up against Igbo presidency? A man like Obi would fight injustice such as happening in Plateau, Benue and Kaduna, a status quo they want to perpetuate. The only time Yoruba cries for justice is when they're affected like Abiola. If Obi were a Yoruba man, they'd have run amok by now.

Coming from a region that has leaders like; Peter Obi, Chimaroke, Mbadiniju or whatever, Orji Kalu, Ikpeazu, Obiano, Ekweremadu and host of incompetent leaders like the ones building cow sheds and naming it "ICT centre".
Nigerians don't realize that there was a serious infrastructural decay of almost 40 years in Nigerîà, according to Obi boys who are mostly gen Z's and developed self awareness less than 10 years ago, bad Ieadership started in 2015.
If leadership of Nigeria was so great and APC is so bad, how did APC get into power?

Decay, yet you support clueless people? You support rigging in Nigeria but it was the same rigging that tore the SW apart when Awolowo was rigged out by Akintola. Why do you guys always wish evil on Nigeria during every election and actually vote incompetence?

We have seen this emerge as a pattern since 2015. Why has this been happening and why are the two regions of SW and North without crude oil responsible for this bad choices? Do they intentionally want to wreck trhe country? Don't they care if the country goes down the drain? Do they believe they have nothing to lose? Do they believe that governance is all about stealing national cake "for my tribe" or region even if the country becomes Venezuela? Do you think this malicious act of voting incompetence would subsist if there is reasource control?
