These men understood the ingenuity of the IBO's and used them as the bulwark of their economic policies. Immediately Buhari and Tinubu grabbed power, they thought they could do without the IBO's.... Party scatter.

[quote author=Deadlytruth post=128563311] Surprised to see Edo there. The same Edo you lots demonized beginning from 2015 for giving buhari as much as 40% of their votes and because of that you began to label them semi yorubas have suddenly again become a people who vote correctly just because just a part of Edo voted for your brother Obi this time around. Very funny and emotional people called Igbos. I honestly keep wondering where all this sudden uturn about Edo is coming from after seven years of demonization of them by you lots.It takes a man with vision to know Tinubu is a disaster na. At least Edo people realized they made a mistake with Buhari, but Yoruba never dis and will still vote foolishly next time only to cry EBIN PAWA o. You lots used to say here that Edo is not supposed to be part of the SS because Edo votes wrongly against the other five SS states but today you have implicitly avered that in the entire SS only Edo votes correctly just because in the last presidential election Obi got the highest percentage in Edo and had lesser percentages in other SS states. See how inconsistent you lots could be because of emotions?Obi won all of SE SS MB Lagos, Abuja and more despite vote suppression in the north, If Igbos have always voted correctly, then who at Independence joined the feudalisic NPC in voting for Tafawa Balewa instead of their own Zik whom they now eulogize as Zik of Africa? So The Tofa you Igbos voted for in 1993 was better than MKO? And the Shagari you voted for in 1979 was better than your own Azikiwe? The Yaradua you voted for in 2007 was better than Ojukwu who produced the best manifesto that year? Then Obasanjo was better than Olu Falae in 1999? You people should just look the way of comedyIgbo backed NPC and the north when it became obvious that Yoruba are the most tribalistic tribe in Nigeria. At a time a Fulani was winning election in Enugu as a mayor, Awolowo and his tribalistic goons were attending night meetings to make sure omoibo neverwas accepted in the SW. The same thing Sanwo Olu and Tinubu are doing today. Have you heard any Igbo destroy people's property in the East? Level pass level na. |
Most genocides that have taken place in Africa happened with the backing of colonial powers. In Biafra, it was Britain backing Nigeria to murder the Igbos. In Rwanda, it was the Belgian and French thhat backed the Hutus to murder the Tutsis. However, what is happening in the Middlebelt is unprecedented. This is because no one is actually serious to talk about it. So it'll likely keep happening until whole tribes are wiped off the face of the earth. What helped the Tutsis was the RPF led by Paul Kegame. What helped the RPF was Uganda, a Tutsi-friendly country and the fact that Tutsi refugees were already settled in the country. What can help the Middlebelt? Who are their friends? Which country can defend them from the marauding Fulani militia? It has become increasingly obvious that the people of Benue, Plateau, Kaduna, Taraba and to some extent, Nasarawa and Kogi are left to their devices. So who will save the Middlebelt? |
Validated:That'll be a calamity of immense proportion. This is what happenes when people permit men without plans to grab power and run away with it |
An Igbo country would make sense. I always tell people to forget Biafra and push for Igbo country. |
jogojogo:It's your foolishness dragging Ibo backwards. I'm sure if Nigeria created enabling environment for them, they'd be competing with Iran and Israel, not Niger republic and Cameroon. Is that why you all cry Ibo will never be president? Because you people hate genuine progress like the typical African foolishness? Eat, dronk, marry many wives and die? |
In as mush as it tosses people up and down, let it remain in Nigeria. Heading to Venezuela is double tragedy from APC. |
It's going... let's home its destination isn't Venezuela? |
ChybuzzDD:I thought of the bolded. The question is why? The North will never support a competent northerner and Yoruba will never support a competent Yoruba. Did you notice how they opposed Obasanjo, and recently Osinbajo. Do you know why? Those are not bigots who had the potential to "steal for my tribe." These people do not belive in equity but cheating and injustice. Why do you think they're ganging up against Igbo presidency? A man like Obi would fight injustice such as happening in Plateau, Benue and Kaduna, a status quo they want to perpetuate. The only time Yoruba cries for justice is when they're affected like Abiola. If Obi were a Yoruba man, they'd have run amok by now. |
JagabanB:Even you know the election was rigged but too ashamed to admit it. Even with the hunger tormenting you. |
JagabanB:Decay, yet you support clueless people? You support rigging in Nigeria but it was the same rigging that tore the SW apart when Awolowo was rigged out by Akintola. Why do you guys always wish evil on Nigeria during every election and actually vote incompetence? |
VeryWickedMan:I think I agree that most Nigerians are incompetent. No wonder the black race is at the lowest rung of humanity ladder. It would seem that strategic think is a challenge to negroes. |
We have seen this emerge as a pattern since 2015. Why has this been happening and why are the two regions of SW and North without crude oil responsible for this bad choices? Do they intentionally want to wreck trhe country? Don't they care if the country goes down the drain? Do they believe they have nothing to lose? Do they believe that governance is all about stealing national cake "for my tribe" or region even if the country becomes Venezuela? Do you think this malicious act of voting incompetence would subsist if there is reasource control? |
1999 - Obasanjo, Yar Adua, Jonathan. It's even obvious that they and to some extent, Edo make the right calls. Why don't Nigerians always consult them for who to vote instead of envy and hatred dragging the country into a hole?

I just noticed "Kidnapping News" at the top of Google Suggest. Be safe out there folks. The thing shock me sha... Better you don't travel at all on the highways. We may just sit this thing out. |
bukatyne:If we use metaphors, PDP is a band of thieves while APC are a hoard of demons. Demonic locusts that leave nothing behind. |
Paraman:Exactly. Every sane (saint) person leaves a stinking place. or clean it up.... |
I pity those people and most civil servants. Could you imagine people with families earning less than 200k in this economy? |
No northern state. Interesting. |
cyberguy72:True sha. I'm not. But Ibo will not rule this our dear corntree. |
Paraman:Yeah, apples are not in the same class as rotten onions. LP, even PDP are angels compared to APC. |
You called it donations abi? Better than stealing government funds. You think a party chairman would remain poor with all the gift politicians shower on him. |
paramakina202:interesting read. nlfpm |
Abbeytoy:Ibo will never rule this our corntree, even if garri cost 5000 naira a mudu. |
Kalvan:Stop weeping... we are saying the same thing. Since we all agree the Ibo man doesnt build the road leading to his village. Ibo will never rule this our beloved corntree. |
Sirianese:Ther's hope. Just hang on. You never know if a tsunami would sweep them all away... |
Kushites:So if you steal from joe to replace what you stole from Jane, it's not stealing ba? |
Sirianese:Easy... to prevent high BP. We only said he removed to reintroduce through the back door to deceive his zonebees |
Kushites:https://punchng.com/senate-approves-tinubus-request-to-borrow-7-8bn-e100m/#:~:text=The%20Senate%20has%20approved%20President,Foreign%20Debt%20during%20Saturday's%20plenary. https://www.thecable.ng/tinubu-asks-nassembly-to-approve-8-6bn-e100m-in-fgs-borrowing-plan Also ask for evidence of the looting and relooting plan. |
Kushites:So your idea of good policy is mouthing removal of subsidy , only to reintroduce it through the backdoor because you're too hypocritical to admit to the populace that you have no answers to their leadership needs? Is what this government making sense to you who believe the nonsense subsidy removal they claim? What happens when every borrower becomes aware of the policyinconsistency and that this is a country that could default on its laon due to inability to articulate simple issues such that ensure that books are balanced? What happens ehen no one is willing to lend this government more money since it's neither defending the naira or effectively defending the masses? |

or clean it up....
