Well, he came in during the past president's tenure.

Tinubu is a man who has many ways of appointing his candidate, which may let the present boss enjoy his seat until whenever.
The replacement candidate may get a new office if Tinubu so wishes to let the Tetfund boss serve him.
Change is constant, so i can't pronounce with šŸ’Æ certainty.
Yeah true...Same happened with BOI boss, he was replaced.

Yeah, the replacement candidate has been waiting for Tinubu to make the announcement.Ā
If that list doesn't make documentation before he appoints the pending ES, he's coming with his list.

Has his tenure elapsed already? Tot he was appointed in March,2022 OR Is it a sack letter

ZARAMITE:
RE-OCCURRING DECIMAL.

21 persons got a job with PENCOM sometime 2019 or thereabout ( I actually forgot the yr). They were asked to resign from their previous employee. I told my guy who worked with AMCON not to resign he should disregard PENCOM directives.

They did documentation and were asked to resume one certain Monday morning. The 21 new employees received email on Friday afternoon telling them they should not resume on Monday anymore that HR will keep in touch.

Some persons has already resigned from their previous employer but i siezed my friend resignation letter. I told him Iā€™ll do the submission but I deliberately keep the letter. I told him I wouldnā€™t like his colleagues to see him submitting his resignation letter so I will do it myself. That was how I technically collected the letter. I knew what I was doing. My intention was to submit the resignation letter once he officially resume at PENCOM.

2 weeks down the line, 1 month to 4months down the line, no mail from PENCOM. 1yr, no resumption email. 1yr 6months later, PENCOM did new replacement without calling the 21 persons to resume. Another 2yrs later, PENCOM did another replacement and another one after that. They had done like 5 replacements since then till this 2024.

Till this moment, that was how they lost the job, they canā€™t even sue PENCOM because it was replacement not advertised recruitment. Same thing has happened in other offices, CBN too. My friend is celebrating me daily.

MORAL LESSON.
Once you get a new job, donā€™t rush to resign from your previous employer until you resume from your new office. Go to work like 2 weeks at your new office to be sure before resigning from your previous employer. You could just take annual leave from your previous employer while you resume at the new office.

Letā€™s be wise.. No work for naija oooo.

Concern citizen (ZARAMITE)

CoolšŸ˜Ž
Are you saying PENCOM pays better than AMCON?

Same way he insulted and abused me on March 24th for telling him what he doesnā€™t know about the SERVICE, hence, I have been avoiding his questions.

Allowance of 50k per quarter that we have been using to cash cruise while taking liquor for yrs. He just came & yet to even resume, he is telling people itā€™s 100k. Your expectations are too high about the SERVICE. Isnā€™t the way you hear outside. I pray you should not be disappointed at the end..

LOL... I specifically told him 50k but was shocked when he said 100k.... I hail you šŸ™Œ@Zaramite

@Gensanusi has been dropping legit info about this recruitment back to back.
He hasn't for once said the Controller or Minister said so. He has reliable sources that gives him legit updates and he shares with us.
Then you on the other hand just went to a Facebook group and copied what you saw there and said the minister said so.
Where did he say it? on which tv/radio station?
If you had said "Please ooo, I saw this from a Facebook group, who can confirm it?" Then people can either confirm or refute the info. Don't just say it like the minister went on Channels Tv or released a statement.
That same Facebook group you copied this from posted a complete time table of the whole recruitment exercise last month and said shortlist would be out by 15th March, it turned out to be fake. Sanusi already gave us a hint that something might come up this week. No need to add fake news to it
Please, unless you have a reliable source, leave Gensanusi and other well informed Nairalanders to post updates about this recruitment, not just any rubbish from a Facebook group that has been dishing out fake news back to back

@Think9ja LOL...You're very funny! I already stated the obvious above. So why dragging instead of us to focus on getting jobs.

Someone posted an update that the minister said xyz. I asked for the source where the minister was quoted making the comments, no reply.

Turned out it was just some baseless beer parlour gist from a facebook group.

@malahu, no point posting updates youre not sure of, especially updates we can easily verify ourselves. Lets not turn this thread to a facebook group where all sorts of rubbish fake news are been posted

Gensanusi has done a tremendous job in keeping us updated about this recruitment exercise. Sanusi has already told us to expect text/emails this week.

Me wanting to see the where the minister of interior made the comment is just like an extra level of authentication

@Think9ja Why would you say it's fake when we're already aware CBT messages will drop any moment. And with regards to the post, the minister could have whispered it to someone close... Besides this is not the first time sensitive info leaks out.. atleast you could've waited till the time elaspes b4 tagging it fake even though we know info here cannot always be 100% accurate.

But I no ask you to pity me na.
Maybe (just maybe) I might even be doing better than you ATM. But because I gave my honest opinion, it's an issue for you. You want me to say I paid money?

Look, I didn't destroy Nigeria, I can't change it, and I will not even try to. Sharing job slots has been existing before I was born, I didn't start it.

No matter who or what becomes president, it will not stop. It might reduce but it won't stop.

I can't be in a position to help my family and friends and not help them because I want to build a country that died more than 50yrs ago. Even your president de share slots.

Even the most corrupt slot sharer leaves like 5-10% slots for lucky or random people and that's what I'm hoping on. Anything that happens I take it and move.

Mr. Patriot, find the next guy on the street to pity.

41k applied for the fire service recruitment and only 29k were successful and will be contacted for CBT Then only 1580 will be recruited in final list

1. What happens if let's say 6k pass the CBT
2. I thought the initial approval was 5k or so for the recruitment, why 1580 all of a sudden

Politics / Re: Nigeria plunged into darkness again as national grid collapses by Malahu: 10:31pm On Apr 09
Nadingo:
Nigeria has been thrust into darkness yet again as the national electricity grid, centrally managed from Osogbo, Osun State, suffered a collapse at approximately 4:30 pm on Thursday, leaving millions of homes and businesses without power.

This development marks the fourth time the grid is collapsing since in the first three months of the year, adding to challenges that have long plagued Nigeriaā€™s power sector.

According to reports from various distribution companies spanning the nationā€™s 36 states, their feeders were rendered inactive, resulting in widespread blackouts across the country.

The gridā€™s output, which stood at 2984 megawatts as of 4 pm, plummeted to zero within the span of an hour, with all 21 plants connected to the grid ceasing operations by 5 pm.

List will be out next week, only 230 graduate will be recruited. Out of 1580 that will be recruited in all cadre

Obviously the slot has been shared else why just 230 in the whole federation. Even one local government is enough to cover this figure.
