Pls fam,I need your advice and experience on this issue.

My car (Nissan Altima 09 2.5 series automatic)as been packed for close to 1 month,most night I come around to warm it and make sure the battery is still active.

Yesterday as I was driving down to iyano iba,I noticed the vehicle was no longer accelerating on drive,I meant d normal movement wen d car is on drive,wen I release my leg from the acceleration pad it looks as if I pushed dwn the break pad,so I forced it and it kept on dragging Nd was close to igando,wen I smelt smoke I had to pull over...lo and behold fire was under the vehicle,the break stirring was red...thank God for the mfm Kirk close by,de came and help put out the fire...long story short....I changed both the pads at d front,Nd I tested the vehicle it was ok.

As I left the mechanic,I noticed on drive the car was accelerating on its own,I had to use break to control the car to iyano iba Nd back to Agege without accelerating....pls I need Ur advice what exactly is wrong with my car...Ur suggest r welcomed pls

In my own case I was residing in Benin asoro exactly,she came visiting from Madonna,when it was time for her to leave,I decided to see her off ,so I followed her to onitsha!she was heading to ojoto!dis lady now is my wife with a boy Nd a girl

I can't raise beyond 80,when it goes beyond 100 it jecks...I check my gauges regularly even while driving....I don't think it might be the sensor

I tried reversing and going forward it won't..just on a stand still....den I tried to accelerate while on neutral to help check both gears but same problem.

I owned a Nissan altima 2008 ride 2.5s....I have been using it for almost a year now,yesterday after church while driving home I noticed the car was jerking while on motion and like 5 mins later the car stopped accelerating and was still on,cudnt reverse cudnt go forward yet was still on, so I had to push to neutral and beg some guys to help me push to a corner were I packed.some say its a rewire thing while others say its mechanical......pls I need ur experience thanks.

Even if the OP were a drinker, it still may not be advisable for him to do that, and that's because alcohol seeps through the pores when taken. Simply put, you 'sweat' a little amount of alcohol when you take it. As such, washing his mouth with hypo wouldn't stop him from reeking of alcohol. On a second thought though, perhaps he should take some alcohol before going, so his in-laws to-be see him as he is. That way, they know straight-out that he is no teetotaler. We have enough pretence in the world as it is already.
