I canvassed for Buhari (sadly). I was studying abroad then and had hoped that my allowances would increase should he eventually make 1naira eqaul to 1usd as promised (I didn't actually believed it's possible for him but I envisioned an enormous improvement at Least).

But I know alot of my Yoruba friends , and especially online (nairaland and other social media) who wanted Buhari not because they believed him but because they were threatened by his threats for violence. Majority of Yourubas not a few..
