Queenzy123:Hi I filled that I was going to rent private housing upon arrival. I then mentioned some locations of interest that were close to my school and that I had researched housing costs and access to transportation and that it would be convenient for my schooling to rent anywhere in the mentioned areas. This was my truth, no lies. Myself and my husband got our visas and we are here, I started classes in October. |
Hello, is anybody here going to Edge Hill University? I want to link up. Please send me a message |
VISA ALERT!!! VI Priority Application Date: August 20th Biometrics Date: August 26th (Tried walk-in on the 23rd to no avail )Transferred to DMC: August 26th Received by DMC: August 27th Collection Mail: September 3rd Pick Up: Today, 6th September No Non straightforward No Interview I was scared an error on my BA Certificate would get my application denied, an extra letter "n" was added to my first name (Oversabi Unilag officer), I swore an affidavit and a "One and the same" name declaration in a newspaper, but ended up not including it in my application. I was advised not to draw unnecessary attention to a detail that may not have been noticeable or overlooked as it was handwritten in italics, or add any document that may delay my application (each documents uploaded will be verified), so I decided against including the affidavit and just prayed about it, I guess that worked or I was lucky. Thank you for all the contributions on this platform, I was practically living on nairaland. |

Hello, Please anyone that can help with this; There was an additional letter 'N' added to my first name on my BA certificate, asking for a re-issue of my certificate from Unilag will take too long, will attaching an affidavit and news paper declaration help with this issue when I apply for my visa? Thank you |
Hello all, thanks for all the valuable information. I will applying for my visa this week, on my first degree certificate, my name was spelt 'Olasunmbo' (As stated on my birth certificate), I however have been spelling my name as 'Olasumbo' (I chose to remove the letter N right from primary school) , all other official documents have "Olasumbo' on them including my international passport, marriage certificate etc. Will this affect my application? |

Hello, thank you for all your contributions. Please I have 2 questions; 1. I did my TB test with IOM in June with my old passport (which will expire in August), but I have a new passport now with a different number (obviously) which still states my previous passport number. Do I need to apply for a re-issue of my TB Test Certificate with the new passport number? 2. My school requires POF before they can issue CAS, I have my 28 days Proof of fund to cover my living expenses, plus my tuition balance (I'm paying 75% of my tuition as deposit) but the total sum in this account doesn't cover my dependant's living expenses, only mine. Can I use a different POF to apply for CAS and use a different one when I'm applying for Visa? Your response would be appreciated. Thank You |
