My marriage just hit 7 years on August 26th and we are dealing with Male factor (Azoospemia).

Did varicocele surgery about four years back and the analysis still read zero for all parameters

Meet with another urologist in a different state. He requested for a diagnosis called TRUS(Transrectal ultrasound ) and found out that there is an inflammation in the seminal vesicles.
Has been taking drugs, yet no improvement.
Age is no longer at my side as I am already 36 by Dec.I have never been this confused in my life
Meet a Doctor this week and he ask we go for Donor sperm as once.


I need assistance here?

Has anyone had such an issue and end up victorious?

Would you advice I go for Tesa?

I need suggestions on Hospital that can do Tesa/Ivf in Portharcourt

And lastly I need any advice, word of hope or anything that can help me because it seems I am bringing to lose it bit by bit.

I need some sound advice.
For a family with limited resources, which would you advise with the below conditions...

1. IVF with success rate of 50%
Or
2. IUI with surrogate with a success rate of 95% (Since surrogate does not have any underlying issues and sperm is okay. )

It depends on how limited your resources are, before ivf make sure you are managing up to 5m, lowest unless you have helpers.
For me because of no kobo na IUI with surrogate.and keep it secret. God make it work
Even if the cost same , the success rate is high


Both would cost almost the same amount.

We treated wrongly. Imagine after many trials, we realised the fault was from me. After hubby's SA came out clean. It was male and female Infertility. We knew after 7 years. Don't also neglect the spiritual aspect .

I forgot to add that, when pregnancy got to 3rd month, cerclage was done.

Run exclusive test and get a good fertility expert.

I changed prayer point. Did a lot of mid night prayers. Attack it medically, emotionally , financially and spiritually.


Trust me, it takes a lot of finance. This journey isn't for the faint hearted.

It's best to see a urologist. My husband also tool fertile aid for men. He treated infection back to back. It's advisable to test after 3 months of treatment. Some drugs are not compatible. Fh Pro did the magic after infection test came out clean.

Please sisters. I did HSG and was diagnosed with left hydrosalpinx and right blocked tubes. My doctor suggested I take antibiotics for the hydro but I see online that it doesn’t cure Hydrosalpinx. What can you advise I do? Is ivf the only solution? I read that with hydro, ivf will keep failing. I’m so depressed.

Thanks Dear. Natural ke? That one na for dream Its not meant for some of us. Actually hoped for a girl sha but didnt do sex selection as it was way too expensive for me so I was open to anyone God gives me . They were even twins again but 1 dropped around 12weeks. Maybe na the girl be that

I got up almost immediately to go to my waiting room, waited a bit and used the toilet and later laid back, I am 13weeks. Just keep resting and enjoying the two weeks wait.

I did mine at fertigold. It’s at Ogba. An affliction of Ab10 hostipal. It was recommended by my Gynecologist. And they treated me good. I got a BFP on first trial. Still taking my drugs and injections as instructed. It’s my 17days after transfer today.

Please I ate nchuanwu with ugu sauce throughout the first day of embryo transfer. A friend just told me that nchuanwu can cause contraction of the womb and I'm now worried.

Please is it true? I'm on my 2ww.

Whata the name of the hospital? Why should he be irritated? Its your money and have the right to ask ANY questions. I think you should request to see the main doctor.

Some hospitals don't add prenisolone to their routine and I know mamas that added on their own too, so you are not the first, but just follow the appropriate prescription and dosage for it and you know you don't stop it abruptly, you must gradually wean yourself off it.

You can ask the nurses if it is a part of your medication given to you. Don't mind all those Dr when it not that they are doing you a favour or it free of charge, I mean you are paying for their service and that's why they are still in business

How is going going mama, from my testimony i had only 2 that made it also to day5, and i got pregnant and have the most handsome almost 1 year old now, so please have faith and relax your mind, your testimony is around the corner.

Please never stop using any drug without your dr's consent, prednisolone is very essential and i was on it for up to about 9weeks or so (if i remember correctly), even after you confirm bfp, so please i know the drugs are too much but it is just for a while max by 13 weeks or 14weeks you would stop taking the drugs, continuing only your prenatal drugs , you've got this mama
