Liazz:If her argument is that it is your duty to provide as the husband then I ask: Is it your duty to assist her with house chores like cleaning and washing? Isn't that a woman's job traditionally speaking? Some women can be so illogical and unreasonable. It's not as if you are saying she must support all the time. Just even once in a while financial support she cannot bring! Suggestion: Who does she listen to? Who does she respect very well? Her pastor, mother, sister? Talk to that person to talk her and see how it goes. |
A broken relationship is better than a broken marriage. I feel like crying for some young people who saw fire and went ahead and put their hands in it all in the name of they're getting old and age is not on their side. Is it your parents that will live with your husband when both of you are married? Is it them or you? There are red flags and there are red flags but this your own too much!!! It is excess. Even if it is a day to your marriage, you can still change your mind and say you're not tying the knot again when you have cogent reasons. Use your head. Many 40 plus women are testifying on NSPPD about miracle marriages. Trust God. Do the right thing. Join NSPPD or any Bible believing church of yours and keep praying to God. The right man will come. Even if he doesnt come quickly, it doesnt mean God has failed you. There is more to life than feeling you're a failure because all your friends have married and you're still single. Life no be competition my sister. Singlehood is better than collecting steady slaps, being beaten and bullied, not allowed to voice your opinion in your own matrimonial home. A man who listens to his mother and siblings and disregards the opinion of the woman he wants to marry, will NEVER EVER listen to her in marriage. I think I've said enough. |
Merrick001:Professional biography writer? To receive N2.5 per word? This is an insult. Do you even know what professional means? People that charge up to N10 million per book that's the person you're asking for! Don't worry-- na quacks go populate your inbox with copy & paste. |

The other day I took a client on inspection to show him a duplex somewhere along NTA Road here in Port Harcourt. He told me the reason he wants to buy the property I was showing him is because of what is happening in the Nigerian economy today. The value of a Dollar to Naira is $1 to N610! Think about that. He said the longer he kept his money in the bank the more the value dropped because the Naira keeps depreciating. He told me that inflation is another thing that affects the real value of his money and that he can’t continue taking this type of risk where he’ll have N20 million in the bank in 2015 and by 2021 the purchasing power of that N20 million still lying in his bank has dropped. I smiled because finally I got to see for the first time someone who understands this real estate investment gospel I have been preaching all these years. Rather than keep your money in commercial banks where it depreciates in value due to the inevitable forces of inflation and the perennial devaluation of the Naira, why not store its value in real estate? How, you may be asking? Good question. Everyone knows that real estate is one of the very few commodities that hardly depreciates. Currencies lose their value, the value of gold drops, the price of crude oil fluctuates and drops most of the time, but real estate? Never. Think about this. You buy a piece of land in January 2011 for N1.5 million. In 2022 or 2023, you sell it for N3 million and yet you find so many buyers rushing after you. 100% profit in 12 months! N1.5 million gained without lifting a finger. I can see you're beginning to get my point now. And you're now adjusting your sitting position. Did you just smile? Was that a smile on your face? Or a make-believe hard man look you're wearing on your face? Truth is, you can't deceive yourself. Be bold to tell yourself the honest truth. How many banks will give you a 100% increase in 12 months? But why are so many people not willing to capitalize on this? Let me tell you why— Ignorance—some of them don’t know; Procrastination—I will do it next month or next year, they keep lying to themselves until it is too late; lack of focus in one direction & reliance on other options like Bitcoin, Ethereum, forex trading and so on— things that most times fail. In recent times the price of Bitcoin has dropped significantly, yet people keep hoping that the market will improve. Yes, it may but when will that be? Why build your money on hope? Caveat: I am not condemning Bitcoin or crypto completely. Its volatility is the biggest problem it has! It has its own plus points too. However, story for another day. One thing I know about real estate is that it never drops. And its value is rarely stagnant. It keeps appreciating. But assuming a worse case scenario (which is hardly possible) where its value becomes stagnant or static, it will hardly go below the original price. So, I ask you reading this now— why invest N10 million in Bitcoin when you don't have real estate worth more than N10 million or N20 million? Even the Bible says, my people perish for lack of understanding. This is the time for you to speak with professionals who have your interest at heart. Talk to us. Tell us your budget, tell us the places you have in mind to buy a property and let us do the homework for you. Manilla Properties is your go-to real estate consultants who will advise you on the best properties to buy based on your needs and budget. We will help you invest in real estate that will yield you great Return on Investment (ROI) in the nearest future. Don't allow that N5 million or N15 million sit idle in your bank account doing nothing for years. What is that N50 million or N75 million doing in your bank account? You want it to keep sleeping in the cold and lifeless bank vaults where inflation and devaluation will suck away the life out of its purchasing power like mosquito sucking the health out of you and injecting plasmodium into you? No Nigerian bank will give you interest. Instead they'll be deducting money from your millions calling it maintenance fee. Which is better? Buy a real estate property this June 2021 with the N10 Million in your bank account and then by June 2022 or 2023 or whenever you wish you sell it for N30 Million, N50 million or more? I laugh when most people think that they're doing we real estate consultants a favour when they buy a property from us. No, rather we're doing you a huge favour. If we don't educate you on the vast potential in the market you won't know this— your money will be lying fallow or perhaps you may even invest it into buying shares and may end up losing all its value. Is this what you want? Is this the kind of news you’d love to hear on a cold Monday evening from a CNN or Aljazeera or AIT newscaster? Nobody loves bad news. Sadly, that is what gives the media their money. In the voice of a preacher: May you not hear any bad news on TV that concerns your pecuniary interests. Wake up today, pick up your phone and call us. No pride in this. If you need help, ask. Even the Bible says, ask and it shall be given unto you. Call us and ask us all the questions bothering you. A sick man calls on his doctor for treatment. A church member calls his pastor for prayers. A man with money who is tired of losing it all or who doesn't want to make the mistakes others made, calls his real estate consultant for professional advice. Why are you still procrastinating? Why are your fingers crawling hesitantly on your phone like a snail hoping to cross the length and breadth of a forest? Stop stealing your time with your own hand. Tomorrow may be too late. A stitch in time, they say, saves nine. Mr. Sampson For: The Manilla Properties Team Port Harcourt. 0901-977-3215.
