Mr Bolaji(He was not yet a Professor when he taught me economics(a borrowed course) in my first few years in the university) was no doubt a first class lecturer. A devout Muslim and a good man to the heart. Even though he left before I concluded my programme, He still remains one of the best lecturer I have ever come across. May almighty Allah grant him Aljanah Fridaus. |

The picture looks stunning no doubt but at the same time ooze of lack of maintenance. Those picture will sure look better if those buildings are regularly painted and upgrade carried out where required. God bless Nigeria. |
He started the project in 2008. Pavore9: |

I think the experience of Mr bode Oyeleke will come in handy when u want to start the grapevine. Never ever give up. Jesusbaby6: |
The man is currently using nets and physical monitoring to ward off the birds and the monkeys(lols). His grapevine is small and he is working on expansion if he gets finance or patnership. I think its the isabella variant that he is cultivating. His story is inspiring. He is a trained accountant that just had passion for agriculture and he was able to come off with that after years of research. Talk about the 'can do spirit' and i will tell you that it abounds in Nigeria. Pavore9: |
Below are some of the pictures of the grapes produced in Nigeria. I am sorry for doing this late. I had to take permission from the owner before posting or sharing it on any social media because i appreciate intellectual properties. Photo credit goes to the amateur lens of Mr bode Oyeleke(Mr Grapes Nigeria) . Pavore9:

I am excited at this topic the same way i am about the many possibilities in Nigeria. This same question came to mind last week and my curiosity led me to this website: http://m.allafrica.com/stories/201502230070.html/. I was so amazed to find out that strawberry is cultivated in commercial quantity in a village called Chaha, near VOM, jos, plateau , Nigeria. A kilogramme is sold for less than 1000 naira most of the year but can get up to 1000 during period of scarcity. This last december, i also met a farmer who has successfully cultivated the purple color grape largelly imported by Nigeria in his farm at Offa, Kwara State. He is currently looking for people to partner with. I have also tried to convince him to let me put his experience in public domain like NL but yet to secure his conviction. Bet you, there are many great news coming out of Africa but yet undocumented. If anyone is interested at seeing the picture of the grapes cultivated in Nigeria, kindly drop your mail address here and i will send you the pictures. Let Africa be great again. |
I think most of the listed projects are those GEJ administration propose to do in the next dispensation cos most of them are non-existent especially those listed for lagos, ibadan, kwara and few other states i have personally been to. Rehabilitation of roads and rail lines were also duplicated to fill the space. In the overall, i think the OP did a poor job at laundering the image of the present government. |
The candidates paraded by APC seems impressive in all. But clearly, GMB will win. I love the fair contest put up by all the aspirants. Its high time nigerians departed from sectional, tribalistic and decisions predicated on religious sentiments in choosing our leaders. God bless Nigeria. |
