DSS is gradually turning to a personal police.

Business / Re: CBN’s Supply Ban Won’t Affect Us - BDCs by manitoba(m): 10:54am On Aug 04, 2021
The excuse CBN gave is stupid.

There is a laid down procedure for BDC's to report the utilisation of the forex they get from CBN weekly.

Almost all the BDC's don't do this and some that do cook up fake reports.

However, we have not been seeing CBN procecute those who goes against that provision as deterrent.

Forex has always been sold through Banks Teller point in that past until it was stopped some years back.

That period was when many Bankers made so much money round tripping the CBN dollars.
(I witnessed this first hand)

The truth is that both the BDC operators and the Bankers are Nigerians and the corrupt tendencies in us will make us circumvent any policies no matter how good.

Everyone wants to be a operator because it's a cheap and easy way to make cool cash. The masses are paying for it. BDCs were buying at N410 and selling at N505. Banks can never try this.

Some people believe if the sex was 'rough' and you made a deep thrust you will land a male child.

I think this works for us.

The scientific explanation for this is that sperms carrying the male egg is weaker compare to the female own and is not as much as that of the female own(I'm explaining not as an expert).

We also left many years of spacing after our older children.

Maybe Gynea in the house will be able to give a more scientific explanation.

Nigeria has a sophisticated tracking system to easily pick this one .

It's only the will that remains.
NPF, DSS, Immigration all have solid trackers. Remember the 'Nigerian Eagle Eye Project'.

Most of this trackers can track an individual to their bedroom and even 'listen' to your calls.

But most of the times when people report such crimes, they are not investigated as long as the victim is not a PEP, highly placed Nigerian or someone willing to share the 'recovered' money with the investigator.[quote author=Agent8706 post=104120387]We have plenty intelligence and security agencies in this country but a simple task of using available information, like, in this case, the bank details of the terrorists, to track them down becomes a mission impossible.
Or is it that I have watched too much movie and end up thinking these trackings are suppose to be easy?

But when you think of it, if they can track down Kanu and Igboho, then we are left with every reason to believe they intentionally neglect to hunt down these terrorists.

I think there is a farm (Osigwe Foundation Farm) by Epe expressway that grows it .

I was there around 2016/7.

They have commercial hotels that readily picks their harvest.

They plant a lot of exotic vegetables.

I saw radish there and later tried it out at a personal level a year after and it was successful though I didn't go commercial.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Immigration Or DSS (Urgent Advice Needed) by manitoba(m): 9:45am On Jul 21, 2021
DSS it is.

With DSS, you are exposed to a lot of top class training and intelligence gathering techniques.

Their pay and allowances is also good.

You can also easily become a security consultant after your service with the agency.

If you choose immigration, you will be hoping to be posted to a Passport processing office, a lucrative outfield office, MMIA (having low activities now), Oil platform like NLNG or the juiciest which is getting foreign posting to a first class European Country , USA , Canada .

Most of the job bit in Immigration are 'safe' except those in the outfield but they are mostly safe too if they don't involve in smuggling deals.

Basic Entry Salary for a Graduate in Immigration is also above 100k so its not a bad option too.

More money is made in either of the job options from 'runs' with Immigration having more of this but I believe this wouldn't be your focus. Lol

For DSS, if you are posted to Ops, it may be a little tricky when it comes to safety as you are exposed to all sorts of high calibre criminals but they are still far safer than say Nigeria Police or those in the Armies as some of them are only on the fields for intelligence gathering.

I was expecting the contractor to have been arrested and sent to jail since but I haven't hear of such.

Employees must learn to be honest at all times; bosses have a heart, that's why they were kind enough to employ you in the first place.

God bless mean bosses like this.

I remember back in the days, I had this worker that wouldn't let me score. She told me it was against her morals. First, she was married and secondly, she was a devout Muslim. So I let her be.

Four months later, my friend who came visiting invited me to his hotel room. There was drinks and they were chicks. I hurriedly showed up and amongst the naked chicks tucked in his bed was my married muslimah employee.

Well, she was the one I settled for. I screwed her like a prisoner who was out on parole. Her moans were loud and full of regrets. Not regrets of being caught but regrets of having neglected such a sweet preek all the while.

Long story short, she resumed work the next day to meet a sack letter and a 'thank you' card on her desk.
Honesty remains the best policy because there's no way I was going to trust someone who told me she was a saint yet svcked a stranger's preek like a vacuum cleaner.

A good boss must tolerate a lot, but should NEVER tolerate being outsmarted.

Career / Re: B.sc In Economics Or Accounting.please Advice by manitoba(m): 10:23pm On Jul 07, 2021
Get a certification in IT Related course if you can or some soft skills.

"The future of job is about the skills you have and not degrees."

You can quote me on this in few years to come.

Going back to your question, I have a friend who has OND Accounting, Bsc Economics , ACCA from a foremost Institution in UK and the associate degree that comes with it .

He made the mistake of coming back to Naija and all these qualifications couldn't get him a decent job.

He is presently doing his CFA.

But if you will be studying abroad, I will suggest Economics.

If studying in Nigeria, what you read doesn't mean much especially if you are not from the core North. Lol

The complainer who happens to be my sister wasn't aware that I created a thread on it. She has asked that I take the thread down. She said she will hand over Korede2016 and co to God. She leaves it for God to fight. She is not taking up the case or reporting as she is already tired of the whole thing. She will never call Korede2016 and co again. She leaves it for God and her creator to judge.

So after reading this post, Korede 2016(Emmanuel) was contacted as I believe in hearing from the accused as well and he gave his side of the story which I am still going through and will try to update after going through.quote author=DenreleDave post=103294773]The scammer name is of korede2016 (nairaland moniker). A well known nairalander from here had a business of rice worth over 7 million naira with korede2016 acting as middle man but till now, korede2016 the scammer has not be able to facilitate the full payment of the rice since last year...

The lady dt had this business with him went to ibadan and involved the police, they arrested korede2016 and the Alhaji he teamed up with.... They were arrested and later paid 200k plus and wrote an undertaken at the police station promising to remit payment every week.. Since the lady left ibadan 3 weeks ago, they have not remitted anything.. Korede2016 and the dubious Alhaji has gone to bribe the police at the station and they have left them without reminding them about their undertaking again... (this is why I came to nairalande at first requesting for someone who can help us with military support because we don't trust the police in this nation. They are so ineffective whenever they have been bribed.).

Imagine the lady is depressed cox she borrowed money to do this business... The agreement BTW the lady and korede2016 was that, immediately the truck of rice gets to Ìbàdàn, they pay b4 offloading but korede2016 had another intention to scam her.. Offloaded the goods and since last year, they av not been able to pay the full money..

They have sold the whole rice since months ago but they wunt remit money...

Influential and well powerful nairalanders Pls come to our aid.... The location is Ibadan...

The said lady came from adamawa to Ibadan to report to police... She spent over 6 days going about to get her money in Ibadan but all cudnt amount to any result..

I want to bring the scammer attention to your notice...... His name is korede2016... He is in the Agriculture section....

2ndly, we need help on how to recover the money back

This are the people involved

EFCC Office is at Iyaganku GRA, Ibadan. They can handle this case since it's within their threshold.

Another Easy way is to involve DSS. Their tracker and that of Immigration is amongst the best in Nigeria for now .

They will track the person to any hole where he is.

I am also amazed that the main contractor is indigenous and he is well versed in his trade.

You guys love measuring manliness in what is not supposed to be. Asaba has always been this flooded anytime it rains. The worst then use to be Okpanam road. Uduaghan and Okowa has expended billions of Naira in channelisation of the water but no good result because most of the money are looted. It's a shame that the 'best' Governor Delta has had From 1999 till date is the kleptomaniac Ibori. We shouldn't be shifting blames when our ineptitude Governors fail to perform. Asaba has River Niger to channel his water too but lack of drainage in most part and poor drainages on the other part caused this.
