I am sure Mr Jelani is primed for success. He would have well weighed his options before making this audacious move. I wish him the best in the service to fatherland. |
This will be a big dent on the EFCC corruption fight if Yari's claim is true and an impeachable offence for the governor if the EFCC could proove he actually stole. Lets siddon look. |
Is that green cap a uniform for the management? Congrats to the students. |
Epic! |
I can categorically say number 5 is a big lie from the pit of hell among others. The current government may be on its way to make Nigeria better but they tell lies a lot. It's merely lip service that has been paid to focusing on Agriculture by this government. I however have hope that things can get better. |
This is the message Nigeria government should be telling China too.. The Chinese like a disease has been allowed to fester long enough.. They largely control our economy directly or indirectly with their finished goods . Nigeria should look more to Japan for standard machineries as they are world leader in Robotic Engineering. |
Climatology and meteorology came out tough but I Scaled it with a B grade (the highest any one got for my set) then my most loved course Transport Geography. I have never read so hard like that in my life just because I wanted to make a statement. God bless the soul of Late Professor Ogunsanya. 'The most informed citizen are geographer'. |
CBN efforts to keep throwing our scarce dollar resources to defend the naira is an effort in futility as it has clearly shown.. It is just a way to enrich few.. The CBN governor and it's management should have reviewed this method after spending a whooping $4Billion with little or no result defending the ' doomed' naira. |
Op, Nicon Town is not off Admiralty Drive Lekki.. Please stop misinforming people.. RIP to the dead and I wish a thorough investigation is done and appropriate deterrent is mete to culprit. |
Nwanne di Na Mba Chairman. |
A Befitting candidate for the job. congrats sir |
Nice thread.. Was able to learn few things here. |
The menace of cows roaming around Abuja municipal is saddening. There is virtually no part of Abuja that is spared from this madness. I saw them around Life camp Abuja last week and people in the area said they are used to it as the cows are mostly owned by who is who. The appropriate authority should do the needful. There must not be any Sacred Cow. #pununintended# |
Its so sad how our political class keep relegating education and qualification to the background while scoring cheap political point. The fact that mercy Johnson, Femi adebayo , onyeka onwenu , RMD e.t.c did well as an actor or actress does not put them in pole position to perform well in governance. Anyone considered for political appointment should earn it by dint of hard work. This is another round peg in square hole. I wish her the best of luck as we say in Nigeria. |
aariwa:Mr Ernest Obiejesi is well known to me. The houses surrounding his country home wears a happy look because of this great son of Igbo land. I can testify to his great strides in philanthropy and other endeavors. I wish him greater height. |
Lalasticlala please move this to front Page. It looks like snake, dont you think so? Lols |
A business partner and I wanted to have a quick 'Brunch’ in between meetings around 12:45am at Ahmadu Bello way , V.I , Lagos today(6th March, 2017). It was raining but my love for photography made me do a quick photo capture of Nestoil Tower on Akin Adesola way, and the rain on the wind shield produced this outstanding effect as attached below. Would love to hear from anyone if they have experienced it before or could explain the science or mystery behind this. Disclaimer: The building attached below is not collapsing as depicted here.

@ Op: I was of the people that believed Nigeria needed a new leader at the tail end of PGEJ regime. But what has changed since the new dispensation was installed? Little or nothing has changed. The current government started on a wrong footing by appointing many laggards as minister's just to placate few political friends. some few cerebral ones were also wrongly placed and thereby undermining their abilities. We need young and vibrant ministers and not archaic and sickly ones . Slow release of money for implementation of 2016 budget is also a big concern. Let the funds be released with proper monitoring. Most of the laudable plans of this government are languishing in the sphere of slow or no implementation. Let there be a timeline to any plan . Also, our present constitution is a big impediment to our growth and the fight against corruption. something urgent must be done on this. I have a lot on my mind but space won't be enough on this platform . In the overall, let the president select his battles , get proven technocrats and economic team to come up with home grown economic solutions, reform the civil service to make it more effective and efficient(government can reduce cost and generate more revenue by doing this), ,be honest in their communications with citizenry. God bless Nigeria . |
Nowadays, Nigeria Military prefers doing their work on social media than on the battle field. A careful search on the internet by anyone can almost reveal all our military assets. |
These are times of great Crime. |
Congratulations to Mr Barkindo for a well deserved appointment. |

This is good news if true. However, the handling of the whole issue is very poor by the FGN. This virus has been raging since last year but little was done to contain it as well as replacement plan to make sure there is no supply gap as its been witnessed now. I also find out that a neem based solution is effective in managing and containing this virus. Find our how here :www.ukulimasmart.co.ke/index.php?Itemid= |

Kenyans are amazing. When Nigerians thinks we have gotten one from them, they come up with another surprise . Great Innovation. |
No doubt, Kaiama and Baruteen LG of Kwara State ranks among the most endowed in Nigeria. I made an expedition there from Lagos in 2014 and it was an eye opener. It's so sad that the government of Kwara State is not doing anything to improve the lot of the farmers around these communities. They are among the most alienated in Nigeria. It's so surprising to know that gold lies in Abundant under the rock at Okuta in one of the LG while grains and Yam abounds everywhere. |
Nice Article. |
Truly, something drastic has to be done about these carnage and wanton destruction of life and properties. Apart from the loss of lives and properties, the loss of farm lands may spell doom for Nigeria's effort for food self sufficiency .#Nigeriariseup# #Babadosomething# #cowsarenotsamewithhumans# |
I'm so honored to be part of the epoch making event at Nnewi. It deepens my believe in the greatness of Nigeria if we all work together as one.#Buynaijatogrownaija# |
I have been in Anambra for the past couple of days and I must say that im impressed at the level of concerted effort at developing the state. Most of the roads are well paved and inter connected. I have toured 70% of the state and yet to see a 'village ' in the true sense of African village. The people are so industrious and I must say they party hard too. #Anambraistrulythelightofthenation# |
