Don't talk like United have never spent money. They just don't spend that kind of money anymore.

The kind of wages city pays thier players? a whole squad that costs over 300 million pounds, city is currently running at a huge loss. Anybody with sense will know that city are trying to buy the premiership.

he Indepedent claim that Sir Alex Ferguson will allow Wayne Rooney to leave Manchester United.

In a bombshell they claim as an exclusive, 15 months after Rooney rocked Old Trafford with a transfer request, the English broadsheet are claiming that Ferguson has decided he no longer wants the striker at the club.

Rooney recently faced punishment from the club when he was fined and left out of the New Years Eve game with Blackburn Rovers. He was recalled, but substituted, in a below par performance during the abysmal defeat at Newcastle United.
