Career / Re: Male Or Female Boss; Which Are You More Comfortable With. by manni(m): 11:22am On Aug 21, 2007
It all depends on the personality that you have and how your attitude at work affects your boss.I have worked with loads of people who are bosses both male and female and have found that though you might find some weired others are fun to work with. You must first have a clean and clear attitude and personality at work which is acceptable to your position in relation to people you work with and finally your boss.
Its a matter of not just working to get paid but relating to keep the job.
Generally speaking-the relationship must be based on connecting.
some lady bosses prefer ladies who they can associate with and learn from-not office work but on social information bases. If your well experienced in what you do-any boss will want to keep you,if not for any other reason.
For guys its a matter of being friendly and willing to learn even though you are a craftman in what you do.Bring in an aspect of socialism which you know is good but is lacking in your place of work or just mind your business until you get to know the kind of people you work with. The words will surely get round to your boss that you are cool-or this guy is a wreck-how did he get here;man once you are on that ground-you are a gonna-
do not look your female boss any where but her eyes for gad sake; work as if the burden of Nigeria lies on your back and you cant get home until that is sorted, then leave the rest for time.If she likes you ,you will be the first person to know.Cos she will tell you-thats how a woman is-
