This is a very good gesture from the Tinubu government but the workers at the NRC won't make it work.
Last year after the announcement was made, I booked online from Lagos to ibadan. It was a successful trip but I later realised that the officials were collecting money from some people who had not booked a seat online. They sold already booked seats to cash at hand passagers. When we got to I discovered that most of the people actually paid at discounted rates. Only few of us truly got our reserved seats.
Return trip back to Lagos became a problem. They had locked all the seats so no one would be able to book anymore. I tried booking again just after the FG bonanza expired and it worked again.
The problem in this country is actually we the people. We are determined not to make the country work and turned back to blame the government.
