Congratulations President Tinubu Congratulations Nigeria 🇳🇬 |
This is a very good gesture from the Tinubu government but the workers at the NRC won't make it work. Last year after the announcement was made, I booked online from Lagos to ibadan. It was a successful trip but I later realised that the officials were collecting money from some people who had not booked a seat online. They sold already booked seats to cash at hand passagers. When we got to I discovered that most of the people actually paid at discounted rates. Only few of us truly got our reserved seats. Return trip back to Lagos became a problem. They had locked all the seats so no one would be able to book anymore. I tried booking again just after the FG bonanza expired and it worked again. The problem in this country is actually we the people. We are determined not to make the country work and turned back to blame the government. |
First it was the president of France who spent his earlier years among the yorubas, now the president of Ghana raised in the yoruba way. The Ọmọlúwàbí virtue is great indeed. |
The North West and the North East are the ones lamenting about this reform. Can we now say that they are the lazy regions? I wonder why a state like kano can not utilise it's huge population for developmental purpose or than to collect allocation and win election. The North West especially must change it's ways of towards revenue generation. This is 21st century. |
Frigga13:The problem is you people think Nigeria is your personal property but no. I love Tinubu for once a southerner is standing strong against northern conspiracy |
Now we know the real parasite in the federation. The anomalies of the past needs to be corrected. The idea of getting free money while you do nothing to generate income is totally absurd. The North should start thinking of how to make their states work. How can the poor be heavily taxed while the rich continues to park luxurious cars in their garage unused. The more affluent you are, the more tax you should pay. We can not continue with the same faulty method |
Kano Emir problem for kano people. That's all |
10mobile:Unfortunately for you, yorubas are not known for starting troubles with other tribedls. Which is why you rarely see them trouping to your region. Besides, are you suggesting that you would fight the yorubas and defeat them in their own land? You have more to lose if you try a tribal war with them. How many Yoruba business have you seen in the east? But come to ibadan, Akure, osogbo ogún State not to talk of Lagos. Don't even try what will ruin you. You are the one to talk to your people. Your excesses are too much. By the way, I am from kogi in case you want to know |
He is welcome back. Now he should stay and face our local problems of fuel and food prices |
In all, this reform must work o. It will take away burden from low income earners, if you park five cars in your garage, be ready to pay more taxes which is what is applicable in western countries. We cannot continue to operate like this and expect a change. Whoever is not happy with the bill is the real enemy of Nigeria. |
festacman:Mr man, I served in Enugu and travelled round the state. From igbo eze to uzo uwani, to nsukka, to obollo-afor in udenu, to nkanu, enugu metropolise, awgu, isi-uzo, udi etc can you name any serious industry in Enugu state and from the brewery? Do you want to check the foreign direct investment going to ibadan compared to enugu? Enugu state is not even as industrialised as ondo state not to talk of Ọ̀yọ́ state. Google is there to confirm it. |
Honestly the last election caused a lot of damage to the relationship between the yorubas and the igbos. Before now, the yorubas do not care if igbo man is Eze in Lagos, or masquerade of nnewi coming to Lagos or igbos appointed commissioners all of a sudden the yorubas are now becoming hostile to anything igbo. I would say the igbos are the architect of whatever the yorubas of Lagos are dishing out to them right now. For peace to reign, let everyone stay in their regions and perform traditional masquerade dance as they like. It is excesses taking the gods of a region to a different region. The gods of the second region will be angry. Before we start having sango/ogún fighting with amadioha |
Buhari was a complete failure but the hardship created by tinubu has made most people forget about buhari. Emilokan should prove people wrong about him |
Congratulations to them. Our attempt at having a female speaker of the house ended at catastrophe because Nigeria women are too obsessed with money right from teenage years. |
For the first time, Tinubu is doing something worthwhile. The reforms will expose those states with fake population just to collect allocation from fg. With the reform, every state will fashion out the ways to be self sufficient. It's totally wrong for the government to be taxing people living in Lagos heavily but takin the money to develop another state. This is the restructuring we have been clamouring for. Anyone opposing the bill is the real enemy of Nigeria. |
UBA locate in charity road abule egba Lagos and first bank located in katangowa market should be reported. Their Atm never have cash to dispense especially that UBA |
Aregbe is an odale. Even if he's forgiven, an odale will always be an odale. He should be forgiven but kept at distance. |
This is the more reason the northern elites are seriously against it. I support tinubu on this one. Let the rich pay for their affluent. You park cars worth 3 billion in your compound yet you are taxed same rate as common citizens without any car. That's too bad. |
in yoruba tradition, the elders say, a kii te aso agba mole meaning you dont disrespect the elders. the also went further to say that agbalagba kii sa langbalangba. meaning : the elderly must not play the childrens game and more importantly, agba toba so agbado mo idi, yio di oniyeye adiye. meaning, an elder that plays around the childrens mud will end up being their puppet. baba obasanjo always meddle in what the elderly shouldnt. there are other former presidents in the country but they respect themselves. obj likes trending and dramatic thats why they keep embarrassing him. the baba should leave nigeria alone because theres no difference among all of them. |
They are really milking lagosians true. The state must fight for it's right to get from the table as much as you contribute to the table. |
Because Nigeria was just a creation of the British people. But nobody created our ethnic groups. We were forced to be Nigerians. I am first a YORUBA MAN before being Nigerian. It's a natural thing. |
Ekiti people love UI to be candid. While some prefer OAU, UNILAG OR FUTA, an average Èkìtì student wishes to be graduate of the Premier University. |
Death to the terrorists and supporters |
It's your life stop explaining. If winners chapel are not considerate in retiring you then your life doesn't depend on them. Move on with your new church. After all, oyedepo son established his own private church so you are free too |
Gbajue ole. He stole the present, past and future of kogi state. How can you pay your children school fees in advance using state dollars. |
Alaga2222:When people with brain are called, you will also raise your hand o. Smh. At your age, you believe everyone voted for the agulu fraud? Get sense a bit. The world doesn't move in a single 'fraudulent' direction |
Honestly pdp should just close their shop. They are not marketable anymore. The likes of atiku have destroyed the party with his selfish greed and arrogance |
Tinubu should ensure he doesn't allow those northerners to create another problem. Why always them? They intentionally create problem so attention of government will be on them |
In the days of issa hayatou, it was easily rigged to Cameroon but social media backlash won't allow caf do a rodri. Uefa could still shoulder all the aftermath but caf? The association will be so ridiculed. |
