I use 90cm dish with strong short neck Lnb. I've never experience it.
Thanks for your feedback. My apologies for the delay in acknowledging. I do use a 90cm dish and Inverto Black Ultra LNB albeit on a motorised set up from 68E to 45W. My location is southern Ghana so maybe that's a factor. I will double check my satellite dish pole plumbness.

eerekake:
Yes, 3pm,but is horizontal i.e your lnb should be 3pm but your polarity should be horizontal.
Does your signal quality decrease at night with this satellite (42.5E)? Signal strength is good at 94% and everything works fine for me during the day with a corresponding signal quality of 60% but at night it reduces to 52% and tends to break. Thanks.

@ogbeh44 all I have is a Technomate TM-2600 Super which is similar to most h-h motors that can be used for dishes up to 1.38m in diameter and weighing up to 15 kg. Visit the thread below for the experience of a Nairalander on this very subject. It helped me a lot as I was a novice to start with. You will have ask around in Nigeria as to where to get one. https://www.nairaland.com/392635/installing-motorised-satellite-dish-system/1

You are much closer to the centre of the badr-5/7 beams. Maybe some minor adjustments needed on your setup. Good luck!
@ike1844 an update for you if you are yet to track Badr5/7 (26e). My motorised pole had lost its plumb position due to the high winds of late. This has been why I was having problems getting the MBC package and one or two other satellites. All sorted now with Cordoba International now showing as well as a new frequency 10970V27500 with about 11 unscrambled channels (most not showing). As our senior brother @Arbourboteng stated, you should be ok with a 90cm dish!

God bless you
@ ike1844, where is your location? I am based in Accra and for the past two weeks at least, it appears the MBC package (Badr-7 (26e)) has had a decrease in beam intensity from my experience. I previously used 12303H27500 (Badr 5 Magreb beam) which has Cordoba International to track Badr-5/Badr-7 on 26e. Now I cannot even pick up the Cordoba signal and the MBC is just pixilating continuously. I have a motorised Ku set up on a 90 cm dish which I have not altered and all the other 30 satellites it picks up have high signal and quality. I wonder if others in southern Ghana are experienceing this.

31.5W and 45w still active on my H H motor signals is very strong thanks
Thank you very much. My dish was not centred on the motor pole and threw off my arc. I have now rectified the problem. Have a good day!

Dear Esteemed members, I am currently resetting my 1.4m h-h motorised dish with a satellite range from 75E to 50W. I am not picking signals on either of Intelsat 25 (31.5W) (ORTM, Cherifa, TM2) and Intelsat 14 (45W) (RASD TV) and before I try any adjustments, I wanted to know for those with motorised/fixed set ups on these satellites as to whether they are currently active. I am picking all active beams for my 1.4m dish from 75E to 22W. My location is Accra, Ghana. Thank you.
Any takers out there on my question please? Is anyone locked on 31.5W or 45W (Ku band) and receiving the channels listed...

I am based in Accra - Ghana. I need a lightweight 1.3m to 1.4m offset dish (for Ku band reception) to buy for my h-h motor. Does anyone locally know where I can buy such a dish. Thanks....

I needed to know if anyone in the Ghana/Nigeria region of West Africa is picking up Intelsat 28 (33E) or Turksat 4A (42E) (Africa beams) either on fixed or motorized 1m dish arrangements. In checking my arc, these two have dissappeared and I am not sure if they are still active. Thanks

I am receiving that package. The MENA beam does not cover my location I think the package is on the central and southern Africa beam which also covers Nigeria.
It may be something at my end then because the SAF beam does cover my location (Accra) so I will check and see. Thanks for your confirmation.

Someone should try this Ting package on abs2 @75e with tp 11596v 30000. I tried with my motorize dish but wasn't successful. I have heard a lot of good things about that package.
I am picking Lesotho Television on ABS-2 with my motorized dish 1m in Accra (11460 H 2200) but its not stable though! Cannot pick TING package at all. Anyone receiving TING package needs to give their location to help us as it could be on the MENA beam.
