It's awkward, annoying and amusing at the same time.

Pere made the noodles. Cross then proceeded to do a separate garnishing for him and Kim. All along, Kim was sleeping. After her boytoys finished making food and serving her Majesty, she asked cross to go get her scarf for her, the boy was aggressively searching everywhere for it. Kim is the perfect trophy wife, but any man she's with whom she doesn't feel same way about would become a doormat.
