LegendHero:I was referring to the northern elites... What IBB and Abacha did to MKO is worse than betrayal.... weather they were military men or not doesn't change the fact that as northerners they betrayed MKO.... Especially IBB, if you know you know.....the story even goes beyond the annulment of the 1993 june12 election... |
UTILITYMAY:Lol.....does he have what it takes to defeat tinubu in the primaries ![]() |
Aidejay:Lol..... prophet of doom..... I doubt that's going to happen |
DonNeon:Can Tambawal defeat Atiku in PDP primaries ![]() As regards tinubu, I feel he will be betrayed by the north, just like Awolowo and MKO |
As the 2023 general election is fast approaching, I have been trying to do my permutations as to who will be the next president of Nigeria. Though I'm not a political analyst, I have over the years develop great interest on the affairs of this country especially on the political scene. Since political parties are yet to conduct their primaries, asking this question now will not narrow our thoughts to the candidate of any major party. My contenders Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Yemi Osibanjo, Aminu Tambawal... Analysis As an individual who is not under any political party, I have come to see these aspirants are the major contenders to take over the affairs of this country, in all honesty, I don't fancy any of them, yeah Osibanjo and Aminu Tambawal maybe easy to market because of their track records compared to Tinubu and Atiku, but I really doubt either of them will be able to win their party primaries (my opinion) Now, if we are to be sincere to ourselves the ruling party and the main opposition are the only two political parties with a solid structure across the 36 state of the country. For the reason alone, I feel either the APC or the PDP will produce the next president of Nigeria even though they present a thief or a drug baron as their candidate (I'm not been sentimental) I'm not ruling the fact that between now and the general election next year, alot of twist and fate could happen ( which I really hope for) but as of today I don't see any candidate outside the ruling party and its main opposition becoming president. My verdict Since our elections are characterized always with massive rigging and vote buying, meaning the highest bidder or the man with the cash and influence stands a major chance of winning, also not ruling out religious and ethnic bias in the line of voting among Nigerians, I've come with the conclusion that whichever party fields a northern candidate will emerge victorious in the general elections ( I hope I'm wrong lol).... But not withstanding, I am predicting Yemi Osibanjo to be the next president of Nigeria......if I was to give a second guess it's going to be ..... hmmm... Atiku (northern factor)...... So nairalanders, who are you predicting to be Nigeria's next president..... |
SarkinYarki:Campaign season, This are the kind of lies you'll hear from politicians....... |
Oblang:Yes, Buhari said he wouldn't reveal his preferred choice to replace him, because he doesn't want him killed..... |
Throwback:This is what the media sold out to the public, but we definitely know there's more to this.... Buhari wasn't stup*d when he said if he mentions his preferred candidate, he(the candidate) will be assassinated...... Let's see how things unfold before the 2023 elections.... some aspiring presidential candidate ambition will be cut off when they open their dirty old files..... ![]() |
Whoever killed Funsho Williams wanted to have Lagos State in his pocket...... Too bad Lagos is in the pocket of one man now..... This should be a clue...... ![]() |
I don't understand, Does this mean at the dying moment of Sylvester's, he just wanted to frame up his colleagues ![]() Nigeria is really a messed up country oo, we literally have people who are bigger than the law...... I pray the soul of slyvester rest in peace and may God's vengeance fall on all the culprits |
tarantino1:Lol that African giant album was crazy..... I feel that was the peak of his career (hope I'm wrong)....man was literally dropping classic songs that took afrobeats to another dimension..... |
RIP Padre.... |
Baby's day out and Home Alone........ Timeless movies |
Odetokun3:I usually don't quote people with nothing in their brain, but I'll give you that privilege today....... I guess you've not been at the receiving end of police brutality that's why you reduced that End SARS protest to a fight against crime and fraud...... My prayer is that you or your love ones do not become a victim of stray bullets or brutal injustice from some of these uniform men... As for doctors and teachers they have unions who fight their cause for them... The best the public can do is to join their voices together with these unions in solidarity to their movement....... |
Ibegtodiffer:Was the money released or not ?A part of their demand was met and they opt not to go on strike again... Or still consulting as they want gullible people like you to believe..... |
fernandoc:https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/500902-despite-nigerian-govts-release-of-n55-5-billion-to-universities-ASUU-says-strike-inevitable.html You will just come to a public forum to show how fustrated you are with life.... Assu initially gave the FG 3 weeks ultimatum to meet their demands on the agreement they had in 2020 after their 9 months strike... That ultimatum lapsed on the 6th of December, and you really think these lecturers wouldn't have gone on strike since then if any of their demands hadn't been met ![]() Try and be informed properly before exposing your level of frustration here.... |
Ibegtodiffer:https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/500902-despite-nigerian-govts-release-of-n55-5-billion-to-universities-ASUU-says-strike-inevitable.html Assu would have gone on strike if any of their demand hadn't be met..... |
After they received 52billion naira from the federal government, going on strike will be very unreasonable...... They should continue with their consultation until bubu leaves office in 2023..... because he has no interest in the educational sector |
Lol |
Assu and the federal government are just using students time and future to play ludo, And agreement they both reached since 2009 (that's 12 years ago) can't still be implemented, Okay just last year there was also a 9 months strike that luckily coincided with the lockdown, and after all the meetings and promises, we have another strike looming again..... Buhari that has little or no educational background wouldn't mind if Assu strike till the end of his tenure in 2023....Wonder how this country ended up with these breeds of leaders.... power drunk, greedy, corrupt to the core, no visionary plans for the future of the nation....... Election is coming up already we can stand up to these politicians and begin a process to end the lingering problems of this nation....... |
Crazy things are happening |
