IN: Michael Owen-ST Gabriel Obertan-WG Antonio Valencia-WG Adem Ljajic-CAM OUT:Christiano Ronaldo-WG Carlos Tevez-ST Lee Martin-WG Rodrigo Possebon-CM(season loan to braga) I think we need to sell alot of fringe players who don't seem to be up to united's standard Anderson, Nani, Simpson, Campbell and Manucho should all go IMO with the likes of Scholes and Giggs to retire next season, I think we should go for a quality DCM next summer and start playing the likes of possebon and gibson in the first team be a member of www.manutdfollwers.com a community a manchester united fans |
According to the media in Brazil, he is one of the players that might replace Cristiano Ronaldo in the future, the new rising star. His agent claims that Sir Alex Ferguson has already started negotiations about signing 18-year old Brazilian |
Manchester United is delighted to announce it has completed the signing of Antonio Valencia from Wigan Athletic on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The 23-year-old Ecuador international has played 34 times for his country, scoring four goals. Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Antonio is a player we have admired for some time now, having spent the last two years in the Premier League with Wigan. I am sure his pace and ability will make a significant contribution to the team.” Antonio Valencia said: “Joining Manchester United is a dream come true for me. I have enjoyed my time at Wigan, but I am thrilled to have the chance to challenge for the biggest honours in club football here. “Playing in front of 76,000 fans alongside players like Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Ryan Giggs will be an amazing experience. I can’t wait to get started.” |
Following contact received from Carlos Tevez’s advisors , in advance of the deadline the Club set for concluding negotiations, Manchester United announces that Carlos will not be signing a new contract with the Club. The Club agreed to pay the option price of £25.5m and offered Carlos a five-year contract which would have made him one of its highest paid players. Disappointingly however, his advisors informed the Club that, despite the success he has enjoyed during one of the Club’s most successful periods, he does not wish to continue playing for Manchester United. The Club would like to thank Carlos for his services over the last two seasons and wishes him good luck for the future. |
