PoliticsOpen Letter To His Excellency President Tinubu by ManXxx(op): 11:16am On May 08, 2025
AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR

RE: DELAY IN APRIL 2025 SALARY FOR FEDERAL TERTIARY INSTITUTION STAFF ON GIFMIS PLATFORM

Your Excellency,
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,
Federal Republic of Nigeria.

May this letter find you in strength and wisdom as you continue to shoulder the great responsibility of leading our nation toward renewed hope and progress.

Today is 8th May 2025, and with deep concern and heavy hearts, we, the staff of Federal Tertiary Institutions (FTIs) under the GIFMIS salary payment platform, wish to draw your urgent attention to the non-payment of our April 2025 salaries.

While our counterparts on the IPPIS platform have received their salaries as expected, those of us on the GIFMIS platform have once again been left in uncertainty, hunger, and distress. Sadly, this is not the first time such a delay has occurred, it has become a recurring hardship since our return to the GIFMIS platform.

Your Excellency, this situation raises unsettling questions:

1. Is this persistent delay a punishment for choosing a more transparent, accountable, and institutionally autonomous salary system?

2. Why has the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) withheld our salary warrant without any official explanation?

Mr. President, this is no longer a simple administrative oversight. It is a humanitarian emergency. Families are suffering. Workers are sick but unable to afford treatment. Schools have resumed, yet parents cannot pay tuition. Many live hand-to-mouth and now find themselves at the mercy of hunger, debt, and emotional trauma.

As a father of the nation, we know you care deeply about the well-being of every Nigerian, especially those who daily invest their lives in building the nation through education and service. We therefore humbly and sincerely plead with you to wade in urgently.

Let those who may be frustrating your vision for a better Nigeria through unjust delays be held accountable. Let justice and equity reign. Let no Nigerian worker be made to feel like a second-class citizen for demanding transparency and dignity in salary payment.

We, the academic and non-academic staff of Federal Tertiary Institutions, remain committed to serving this nation with all our hearts. All we ask is that our rights and livelihoods be protected.

Your Excellency, please ensure the release of our April 2025 salaries and other entitlements without further delay.

With utmost respect and trust in your leadership,

Com. O. O. Ọlálèmí
NASU Secretary, UI Branch
(On behalf of the concerned FTI staff on the GIFMIS platform)

@mod, please let this get to front page so as to get the attention needed. Thanks.

Someone should drop account number and tell me what 10k can do for you. 3 people with concrete reasons will be selected. 30k will be going out dis evening. Good luck
if I am lucky to be among the chosen, N5k will be used to give my kids a feel of the festive season....I couldn't afford even coca cola for them on Christmas day. The remaining N5k will be used for lunch tomorrow.

The way these guys talk about this petrol subsidy, one would think it's only Nigeria that was paying subsidy for petrol in the whole universe. One would even think it's criminal!!

CrimeRe: 56 Road Block From Ugbema To Vandeikya Unacceptable For A Distance Of 65km by ManXxx: 2:31pm On Feb 03, 2024
Orkpekyandega:
THE NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN BENUE STATE SHOULD ACT TOWARDS THIS IMMEDIATELY

56 ROAD BLOCKS FROM UGBEMA TO VANDEIKYA

Yes you heard me right.
56 Road Blocks in between a distance of 65km is nothing other than madness. The number keeps increasing by the day.

Imagine driving and having to stop at road blocks 1.18kms apart by average not for security checks but to be extorted.
I was deliberate when a refered to them as such instead of check points. Those who man these points are simply Economic Saboteurs. A farmer who is made to pay at everyone of these points will simply make up when selling to the consumer.

An analysis shows that BIRS has 2, VIO 3, Civil Defense 3, NDLEA 1, Nigerian Immigration Service 3, an illegal one just 30m from a police road blocks! after Akerior in Utange.

The remaining 43 are police points manned by Operatives of Operation ZENDA , Highway Patrol, the regular Police or by whatever name they go.
These people have abandoned their Constitutionally known roles and have instead chosen to become Tax Collector who hang their riffles loosely behind them with 2 arms stretched towards motorists. People are kidnapped daily and ferried on these roads without consequences. Go to any Divisional Police Office and all you hear is O we have shortage of Manpower. We now know where these guys are.

I pray this gets to the Governor of Benue State who will take it up with the Police Commissioner in the State or someone higher. THIS MADNESS Has to stop.
I come in peace.

- Arc. Mark Ternenge Atsaakaa.
this is nothing short of madness! 56 stops in 65km!!

Changing oil frequently doesn't necessarily improve engine longevity or performance; using GOOD quality oil and changing as per manufacturer specifications does.

Car TalkI Need Specialist Advice by ManXxx(op): 7:54am On May 27, 2023
I don't enough money for a new engine. I ringed the engine of my car last year around October but by March this year the rings failed. I think the rings used were inferior quality. Now I raised money to ring the engine again. My question is, must the cylinders be cut before these new rings are fitted or they can be fitted without cutting the cylinders? Expert advice needed. Thanks.

I'm already tired with life. Survival is too expensive, no one to call for help. If u commit suicide now, they will say u have sinned and that you're a weakling. We Hussle day and night, we don't even sleep. As I write this, I Hussle like a wounded lion looking for money but times are just too hard. I want to go to bed, sleep and never wake up. I don't want to use my hand to do this. I'm tired and God knows
