This thread is a naked show of the barbaric mindset of an average African.

You beat your chest because your tribes man win an election and it does not matter the man is thief bereft of ideas for good Governance.

Buhari spent 8 years in office and reset Nigeria back to 1900.
Tinubu is rather watching over Nigeria com to ruins than take charge of the Nation like a President.

See, I will vote for Osibanjo 100 times instead of voting Okorocha or Hope Uzdinma.

Reprisal attack
It seems there is something you know that we don't.
From your post, I deduce that the people of Olena in Asa community, Otukpo LGA of Benue State were the to attack Fulani Community killing and kidnaping them for long.

So, the peace loving Fulani who could not endure it anymore, just came for reprisal attack.

Now, I will appreciate if you can update us with the details of those attacks by the Benue Community against the
Fulani Community before this reprisal.
Where is this Fulani Community?
Do they share Boundaries with the people of Olena.
Or did the Olena people travel to a Fulani Community in Taraba, Sokoto or Adamawa to attack them?

When did such attacks take place?

Thanks and happy New Month.

If southerners truly value life, how come some killer herdsmen would come from the north to be attacking the farmers in the south while all we can all do is to protest?

Protest when we supposed to be acting
In the East, ESN came up and began to counter them. Unfortunately, the Nigerian State which refused to confront the Fulani, sent armoured thanks against ESN. The politicians kept mum because of their personal ambitions.

We have people like Hope Uzodinma who was installed by the Supreme Court against all the laws of Nigerian electoral process. He will rather kill.his own people just for power.

Today, Fulani is back.

Just recently, women of an Enugu Community came out to protest against the Fulani, Nigerian Soldiers were mobilised who shot live ammunitions against unarmed women.

The Edo killings of some Fulani is an eye opener. Why did Uromi people take laws into their hands?

They didn't fold hands, they took action

Now, look at the backlash.

Like I said, the problem is not the populace, it is the politicians.

I don't think so.
Southerners value lives even more than the North.
There are two problems I have identified as the root causes of problems of th south in this area.

1. Southern Politicians are ready to massage the ego of the Northern counterparts, so they can be accepted into satanic league of Nigerian Leaders.

Their personal ambitions blind their eyes to relatives.

That was why Tinubu in defence of the Fulani, asked, "Where are the cows?"

2. The South is so divided that they end up mocking each to the advantage of the North.
For example, if Fulani attacks South West, the South East will be seen asocmong.them.and.throwimg.jbas.

If the South East.is attacked,.the South West.will.mock and jeer

Th day these two will unite against the Fulani, they (the Fulani will go back to wherever they are coming from.

Is it their fault?.. NO!

The fault is from Southern politicians and elites who are too afraid to speak up against injustice done to Southerners.

A Christian girl was killed in a gruesome manner in Sokoto by muslim mob, the entire thing was on record with the killers showing their faces but no arrests have been made till this moment.. Is murder no longer a criminal offence in Nigeria?.

Now compare with the slain Northerners in Edo who were caught with guns and other dangerous weapons, in this era of kidnapping for ransom and all.. how do you expect passersby to react?.

The Southern leaders are the biggest problem of this country.. they are never united for anything, it's only betrayal of their people that they are good at.
As if Awolowo saw the future back then when he fought that secession clause be added to our constitution but greed of people like Nnamdi Azikiwe and his kins who wanted to dominate every tribe made it impossible to insert that clause in the constitution. You really think other tribes will have options to exit Nigeria and these Northern elites will be showing less to no concern about Fulani attrocities in the South and Middle Belt?. Of course not.
The day revolution comes, it will start in the South: Southern citizens against Southern Politicians.

So you don't know what is wrong?

Deborah was killed by a mob who accused her of blasphemy, while the armed Fulanis intercepted at Uromi were killed by a mob who accused them of terrorism.

If Sani appealed for calm over Deborah's murder, he should have also appealed for calm over the what happened to the Fulanis.

Sultan should also appeal for calm in the matter as he appealed for calm over Deborah's case.

Ok then other hand, I thought Sharia law is for Moslems?
So, blasphemy laws must be strictly Moslems.

Deborah did not know Sharia law neither did she know what constitutes a blasphemy.
PoliticsRe: Uromi Killings; The Other Side Of The Story. by MAR2012: 2:47pm On Mar 30, 2025
The worst mistake Nigeria will make is to kill anyone over the killing of the armed Fulanis.

Whether they were innocent hunters or armed terrorists is what no one will ever know.

However, in a land where armed Fulanis has been raping, killing kidnapping and collecting ransom, a Fulani caught with arms will have a lot of questions to answer and may end up baring the brunt of previous activities.

In a Country where Government does not answer the cry of the people over the satanic activities of the Fulani, anybody blaming Uromi People need to visit psychiatrist hospital.

Interesting enough enough, if news had come out on how the Fulani killed Uromi people, bathe same people will come out and smock them.

Nigeria is a slaughter house.

Over 1,000 children have been forced out of school due to the ongoing crisis in Abor Isiala and Iheenyi communities in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria, according to a coalition of civil society organisations.

The coalition, comprising the South Saharan Social Development Organization (SSDO) and the Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC), stated that the crisis began in 2022 and has displaced at least 7,000 residents, resulting in the loss of lives, businesses, and property.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Enugu, the coalition attributed the displacement to repeated attacks by armed herdsmen attempting to graze in the area.

SaharaReporters recently reported that women from the seven autonomous communities in Eha-Amufu staged a protest after a final-year student was killed and a woman was raped while returning from the farm.

The coalition condemned the escalating attacks, which they said have claimed hundreds of lives and devastated businesses and property.

They revealed that over 1,064 children remain out of school, while only 456 have managed to return since the crisis began.

Director, JDPC, Enugu, Rev. Fr Donatus Onuigbo, stated that the situation in the two communities and other surrounding communities “is not just a tragedy, but an ongoing humanitarian crisis that has left countless families broken and displaced”

Onuigbo added that many have left their farms and businesses.

He said: “These communities have endured brutal attacks that have spiralled into violent confrontations. Armed herdsmen and their collaborators have wreaked havoc, driven communities from their homes and upended the lives of those who once thrived there.

“What makes the crisis even more disturbing is the disproportionate impact it has had on women and children. They bear the brunt of this violence in the most harrowing way, including facing hunger, disease and physical assault.

"Some women have suffered brutal sexual violence, and children, who should be in school, are now left traumatised, displaced, and deprived of an education.

“The attack on farmlands has also left communities without a means of survival and the economic fallout from the destruction of crops and businesses continues to deepen the crisis, and there is no sign that this suffering will end unless immediate and decisive action is taken."

Onuigbo, who was flanked by members of the communities, stated that despite the deployment of security forces intermittently in the area, the attack has become a yearly occurrence.

“We cannot stand by and allow this crisis to continue without action. We, therefore, call on the state government, under the leadership of Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, to take immediate and concrete steps to address the suffering of the people of Abor Isiala and Ihenyi communities and other communities affected by this conflict without delay,” he said.

He also called on the state government to provide immediate humanitarian relief for the affected families, which should include cash for food, clothing, survival kits and medical supplies.
Onuigbo urged the government to take decisive action by identifying, arresting, and prosecuting those responsible for the attacks in the region.

He also called for the restoration of normalcy, including facilitating the return of children to school and rebuilding the lives of farmers and business owners who had suffered devastating losses.

SaharaReporters learnt that at least 42 farm settlements across four autonomous communities in Eha-Amufu have been overrun by marauding herdsmen, leaving residents displaced and forced to seek refuge in neighbouring areas.

How true is this. And no news yet?
A combined team of Nigerian security agencies, comprising soldiers, police, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), unleashed mayhem on thousands of women protesting against herdsmen killings in Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzu Local Government Area of Enugu State.

SaharaReporters learned that the soldiers and police were deployed by the Enugu State government, led by Governor Peter Mbah, who allegedly wanted to suppress reports of herdsmen attacks and insecurity in the state.

Community sources revealed that trouble started when the women, numbering hundreds of thousands, apprehended two individuals, accused of masterminding herdsmen attacks in Eha-Amufu.

While one of them escaped, the women held the other suspect and paraded him through the communities. The government then deployed soldiers, anti-riot police, and NSCDC personnel to intervene.

Mrs. Regina Odoh, one of the leading protesters, recounted the events: "On getting to Eke, the central market, hundreds of soldiers and policemen blocked us. We pleaded with the security agents to leave our way since they could not protect them. When the security agents refused, we went back to Eha-Ohala and hid him in Umujove community and reinforced in our hundreds and came back to the town."

"But the soldiers and policemen pursued us and blocked the major road we could come out to the town. On hearing what soldiers and policemen who could not protect us when Fulani herdsmen were attacking, killing, and rapping us, other women from five communities in Eha-Amufu mobilized and stormed the town where the security agents blocked and surrounding them. Immediately, they started shooting both live ammunition and teargas on the protesting women."

"The women accused them of aiding the atrocities of Fulani herdsmen on their people and still want to shot their mouths from crying to the world. While the soldiers and police were shooting and teargas at them, they responded by pelting them with stones and sticks. In the chaotic scene the security team shot four and wounded several women who have been taken to hospital now."

In several video and voice clips shared with SaharaReporters, the protesting women were overheard calling the Council chairman, Obiora Obeagu, saboteurs who profit from the blood of hundreds of Eha-Amufu people that herdsmen had killed in the past five years in their farms and homes.

In one of the video clips, a woman who appears to be one of their spokespersons was overheard saying: "Mr. Israel Mgborogwu is from Mgbuji community. He is an agent of government and collaborators of Fulani herdsmen. He works as a media aide to the Isi Uzo LGA chairman Mr Obiora Obeagu."

"They (Isi-Uzu Council Chairman, Donatus Odoh and Israel) claimed that the woman who died after Fulani herdsmen raped and inserted stick in her private part didn't die. They went and brought another woman who was earlier raped to claim that no raped woman died. They said that only one person had been killed in Eha-Amufu since November last year. This is a capital lie."

"In the past two weeks no fewer than four women had been raped in their farm by Fulani herdsmen. They attacked Amofia Umuhu Eha-Amufu village, killed a final year graduate - late Ndubuisi in their compound and shot his uncle on the leg. While Ndubuisi, an only child was buried last week, his uncle is still in hospital. His killers also burnt down two houses and looted four others yet the government officials and some disgruntled elements from the community went to the media to brand our protest sponsored."

She added, "if the government and security agencies cannot protect us they shouldn't suppress our outcry."
