As abstract as the lyrics are from Eminem, a listener can actually picture each millisecond of events he is trying to bring to life from his crazy/abstract world.

These cats above are great, but when you compare include basic standards of requirements for comparisons, these other guys u added, would fall short.
1. Rhymes scheme 2. Number of popular albums. (Eminem had 4 or 5) 3. Which of those rappers broke in bigtime into other genres as FEATURED ARTIST? None did it amongst those guys like Eminem did. Eminem did it twice with Rihanna, once with Beyonce, Did it with Akon, These 3 artist I put above here were probably the best/hottest artists in the world at some point that were not Rappers.

Rihanna, Beyonce, Akon were at some point the hottest artists in the world at some point and their resigns at the top lasted for like a decade.
And Eminem had features that were hits with these three at their very peak.

Let's be honest, Eminem is more versatile than all those artists you mentioned. Another factor to be considered for Comparison is VERSITILITY. Eminem can change pace up to 5 times in one very song.
Most of those other guys would maintain one same-pace, all thru an album.
Seeee, ogaaa there is no rapper in the world that doesn't try sometimes to flow with the beats.
They may not try all the time, cos at times, they already have their lyrics written before the beats is produced. But at times, the beats are already produced, then the rapper jumps on it to flow with the beats.
So let me tell you if few times some of these our favourite rappers tried to catch/match up with the beats.

1. Notorious Thugs (BIG feat. BONE THUGS & HARMONY)
2. IM INTO BIG THINGS. (By Nas. From the I AM album).
NOw you see, all these other artist still try to flow with the beats (Cadence).
In as much as they try at times, did anyone of them do it at well as Eminem, when ever he wants to??

Now, to me: ILLMATIC is not my by best NAS albums for some very good points I would explain to you.
It may be his most classical albums. But not the best in totality.
The best should be STILLMATIC and I AM. Why I say Soo is becos ils becos these very 2 albums I mentioned here had everything that ILLMATIC had, but ILLMATIC didn't have everything that STILLMATIC and I AM had.
ILLMATIC was had some strong Phylosophical lyrics but it was toooo one dimensional.
Almost all these songs had similar tempo.
Whereas STILLMATIC and I AM were both more interesting albums and still remains NAS's stronghold of being one of the most philisophycal MC's ever.
Was it not in That STILLMATIC that NAS had ONE MIC inside?
And there is no Rapsong ever made as intelligent as One Mic. That was mathematics and science in a RAP song. Go and listen to the second verse about JESUS.
Please, EVEN Jay Z's hood has since accepted that Eminem murdered Jay-Z in alllll ramifications. Story telling ooo, rhymes oooo, punchlines ooooo, more-attractive rap voice/pitch.
