Yeah, we can try... I am in and out of phc from time to time. Although I vé taken thé exam already.

In the course of studying for the TEF, for section A of l'expression orale, I found it very difficult to find about 10 relevant questions to ask for each given ad (on top the french itself wey I still dey battle with). Thus, I've made a compilation (if you can call it that) of sample questions that one can ask for some ads I've came across for easy reference while studying. They were gotten from different sources - the TEF books, YouTube (Enseignement du FLE, Propulse Training) and some documents I found on Scribd.

I'm in an abnormally good mood so I want to share this, maybe you can even make some corrections and provide other possible questions one can ask. Donc, click ici to download it.

It's not exhaustive...I'm open to corrections.

Wao this is really selfless... Thanks and well done! Just to add, on the exam day, make sûre u pût an introduction before u begin the questions. I heard a good opening is about 20% of the score. Par exemple ; Allô, bonjour monsieur.... Je suis XXXX... J'ai lu votre annonce pourtant sur de la randonnée et je suis intéressé, je vous appelle pour avoir plus d'informations.....

Strange. I got an email with the soft copy of the results and was told to come to AF at a later date for the signed certificate, which I did about a month later or so.

Oh ok.. Can you remember how long after the exam that was? I mean for the mall.Thanks in advance.

morning ma! I never got an email with results from AF....but after a month I called AF Lagos and the results were ready...the hard copy as well and it was dated and signed just about 4 weeks after the exam date.....so maybe the results were available earlier.

Bonjour Mamaroon, Please can you tell us how long after the exam it took for your TEF result to come out? I read somewhere that they first of all send you the result by mail 2 weeks after and then between 4 to 6 weeks after thé exam u get the hard copy. Can you please clarify this and also is there a TRF number and would it be in the mail. Thank you.

From my experience in Lagos...i had about 10 to 15 mins.

They called me up and gave me the question but they had not finished with the previous candidate so I had time.

Some study materials for the TEF can be downloaded here

They are mostly grammar and vocabulary books but I found the alter ego books especially helpful.
Most of the materials here are from DelPiero at canada visa

Hi étrange. Why 120K? Are you taking Lexique/Structure ?
We dont néed it for EE though, Its 100K in phc just for the 4 - Compréhension Orale, Comprehension Écrite, Expression Orale & Expression Écrite. 25K for each.

Bonjour à tous! and thanks étrange for this initiative. I saw this post yesterday and sent a comment. It Never got posted and i was banned for 24 hrs probably because my post was in french. So i will try again, this time in english.

It is very possible to get a B2 in 6 months assuming you are doing thé Very intensive programme (VIP) at Alliance Français. Any other programme will take much longer. For example, I started studying in January with thé Regular evening programme and it took till May to conclu de with A1. From then, i took a private teacher and i had a very solid A2 in 5 weeks. My teacher says with a good A2 and lots of practice, one can excel in TEF.

As for study materials, i have thé TEF 250 activités and TEF Prepmyfuture app. Thé app is very helpful because it tells you thé strategy for tackling Every question type
and shows u your progress as u master thé concept. There is also vocabulary and grammer les sons and practise questions, TEF mock exams and alot of TEF patterned questions for your practice.

I would like to take thé exam in septembre at Alliance Phc but I'm still not satisfied with my fluency level. Maybe i would come over to Lagos for thé Octobre exam. Until then I look forward to improving my french by being part of this thread...
