Hi Giselle thanks for the response. I was hoping you could take a minute to look at the documents my husband is providing for his UK visit visa (he has been refused before due to unexplained deposits). He is applying for a tourist visa and would be going alone. -6 months bank statements but company and personal -Etsy Receipts from January - August -A tabular breakdown of all transactions from 500k above both inflow and outflow backed with as much invoices as possible -Cover letter explaining how etsy funds are changed into naira and deposited into his account -My British passport bio data page -Our marriage certificate -Daughters birth certificate (also a UK citizen) -My employment letter and pay slips to show I am working in Nigeria even though I'm a UK citizen -Our tenancy agreement. Will this be sufficient enough to as the finance bit was what caused the previous denials. He gets large deposits in his account after changing dollars to naira from sales he has made from Etsy. In his last application he only mentioned it in his cover letter but did not provide etsy receipts and invoices to back this claim. How else can we prove his finances or what do you suggest we do? giselle237: |
Please any advice here?? mariam17: |
Hello house, Please my husband is trying to re-apply for his visit visa. He got denied last year based on finances; it was stated in his refusal later that he did not provide enough proof to show his source of incomes as he is self-employed. For that application he only submitted his bank accounts and company CAC and a cover letter explaining his funds. This time around we have decided to provide as much evidence as possible showing receipts, invoices and also we have tabulated every large expense, giving reasons and providing documents. Most of the large deposits are from his Etsy sales; for this he will be showing receipts for the last 6months from his store to show how much he is making monthly and to back up the large deposits which were gotten from fx transactions after changing dollars to naira. Please I will like to know if the etsy receipts and payments will be enough proof to show the large deposits in his account? |
Hello, thanks for the response. He submitted the following documents; -CAC Docs -6 months Personal and Company Bank Statement -Pay slips (he pays himself a salary) -Cover Letter -Itinerary -Letter of Invite from friend for where he was going to stay Reason for refusal was he did not show enough proof to validate his source of income. We assumed CAC and bank statements was more than enough. NiksO21: |
Hello House, Please I need some advise. My husband is trying to re-apply for a 6 month visit visa, he has been refused before and reasons had to do with finances. They mentioned we didn't show enough proof to show his source of income. He submitted his CAC, 6 Months bank statements both company and personal which showed he was paying himself a salary. His business is SME with sales of products ranging from 6k-20k with daily credits as he makes sales every day. He also does side businesses here and there like buying and selling of phones and accessories, building websites and payments for these are deposited in his account but he was not able to show more proof on how the payments were received even though he wrote a covering letter explaining all this. He also did not intend to spend from his company account which he clearly stated and had a closing balance of over 2m in his personal account with no lodging and transactions of each sale or repair of gadgets are clearly stated in his personal bank statements but I don't think the visa officer took time to read the statement line by line. I think they wanted invoices and receipts of every single transaction even though it's a side business. We intend to re-apply again to travel in November as a family what proof can we include for finances. Also my daughter and I are both British citizens but we live here because I work here and my husband's business is here. Will this affect our application, as they may think he intends to stay there. What else can we show as proof that he is going to return. I will appreciate advise and suggestions please. |

yomzy4cool:Thanks for the response. I sent a message via whatsapp. I need more information so I can head out there, I live very far from the airport. Thank you |
Hello yomy4cool, Please I need your help, my package left the UK via Royal mail on the 26th of September and it has been in transit since. I am really worried as this happened last year I had to physically go to the office and beg them to look for it because the nipost tracking has not been updated since the 26th. I have called Royal mail and they confirmed it has left the UK since that date. I fear the tracking number might have changed when it arrived in Lagos. Please help me out, the documents are extremely important, this is the tracking number RZ361798777GB. You can reach me on 08180294205. Thank you God bless you |

Please what relationship do you mean, it it my fathers? Which of the options would you advise me to use, my father or friend? Advisory: |
Good Afternoon Everyone, I must commend you all for all the information. It's my first time here and I need advise and suggestions please. I am about to apply for a UK Visitor visa 6 months with the intention to spend 6 days in the UK. I previously schooled in the UK for a masters program and came back in 2015 a month before my visa expiry date. I currently work and earn 150k a month and I have my 6 months recent payslips. I will be staying in a hotel in Coventry and will visit London and Birmingham just once for some tourist activities so I can manage my funds. My issue is that I do not have enough money to cover all my expenses. I will be covering my hotel, feeding and shopping allowance and intend to spend 300k. My dad wants to pay for my flight tickets but he wants to use his company account to support this claim as most of his money is saved in the company account. I am a director in his company, although i do not currently work there but my name is on the CAC documents. I have the following documents; Bank statement (Salary/Spending account with about 100k and Savings account with about 500k) Hotel reservation Itineary Cover letter Dad's personal and company account CAC documents Letter from bank stating my dad as signatory to his company account Dad's bio data page Employment Letter Letter from Company to embassy approving my leave. I have tried to explain everything mentioned here in great details in my application and cover letter, I would like to know what my chances are in getting the visa. My other alternative will be to use a male friend as a sponsor. He is a UK citizen and currently lives there and has a very good job with a bank. I am very skeptical about this because am worried I might be denied seeing that he is a male friend. I fear they might think I want to run away and stay with him. Please kindly advise on the best way to go about this. Thank you |
