My side to this transaction.


On Saturday, the 13th of March, 2017 I chatted with DelgroveNG that I have some RMB I want to exchange to naira, He demand that I send to his account and that he will pay at the prevalent rate anytime he is ready to send me my naira, I disagreed and insist he should tell me the conversion rate before i transfer the RMB.

He told me that he will change it at 64naira/RMB so I agreed, I calculated my money with his rate to see if the biz was viable and since it was, I decided to transfer the RMB {reminbi: Chinese currency} to the account DelgroveNG supplied to me. He confirmed receipt of the fund in his account the same day to me I asked for payment at the 64naira he told me but he said it was already late in China and I should wait till the next business day which is Monday, 20th of March, 2017 for him to convert the RMB to Naira and I will get my payment then so I waited till Monday.


On Monday, around 10am, I chatted with DelgroveNG to know why he hasn't credited my bank account I gave him to pay my money to, he said I should give him some time because business just started so I waited till Monday afternoon to ask again. On monday afternoon, the Diamond Bank Internet banking apps was having a downtime so he used this as his excuse that he isn't able to make payment till the Diamond transfer works because of the downtime that I should wait and he will credit me soon. Later that day when the app started working, I asked DelgroveNG for payment but he didn't reply.

Tuesday, 21st March, 2017 came and I was yet to be paid by DelgroveNG so I asked again for my payment, this time he said he was going to send my money at the rate of 62naira/RMB as against the 64naira/rmb he offered me on Saturday and I ask what is the reason why he wants to short pay me if his only reason for not paying my money on Monday was the Diamond App downtime and not that he hasn't exchange the RMB. I also told him that on Monday, I sold about 90,000RMB and the least I sold was for 63naira/RMB and if at all I will consider a lower rate, it will be the rate RMB went for on Monday which was 63naira/RMB. He agreed to pay me 63naira/RMB after our chat. (I will show proof with our chats screenshots)


From Tuesday till now, DelgroveNG has not paid my money. Whenever I chat him, he acts unbothered and unconcerned.

Having read from both sides and from screenshots posted... the agreed price was N63/rmb... Delgroove you are bounded by the agreement to pay him what is due to him.We all knew rates fell on Tue but this deal was sealed before then.

On 10am , Tue... one of the guys who usually sell btc to me called and we agreed on 425(usually I pay him after sales).... He sent the coins but just 2hrs after, it had fell in $/btc and Naira value to N405. I was in a delima:

1) The $/btc has fallen
2) The $/N has also fell

Now I have not paid the guy and have lost close to N45K, GREED is insisting that I will pay the NEW RATE while INTEGRITY is bearing the loss from the negative fall in value .

it's either you're legit or you are a scam. There is no such thing as 'i legit pass you'. You see some people here, they have that feelings of how i go send first when i legit pass you.

You see someone like like Legalwealth, he does not want to know wether you legit or not, wether you dey buy or sell, he will request for money first before una even conclude self.

Nsonaso as at yesterday he no wan wan send me payoneer first because he claimed he had registered nairaland before me and that is red flag for that reason. Can you imagine how logical some of can be here?

3rnest : i have directed skrill traffic to him and vouch on his behalf, but he was unable to vouch for me when someone asked him if he could, He said we've not had direct deal. Meanwhile me dey vouch for you regardless of wether we get direct deal or not.


Justi4jesu: as far she is concern, she is the only legit person on nairaland. I have sold payoneer to her and waited patently to load before she paid. She get payoneer, told me to send money first and she was the same person that said no loading no payment, now no naira no paynoeer. Even when i requested for escrow, she even at a point said escrow go pay her first before she send out payoneer. Lol

Singapore1: mr free style, him no care who sends first so long you prove yourself to be legit. If i have any doubt about someone, he's my first point of contact. Ones the person good to go, him no go border escrow, he will just tell you it doesn't matter who send first.


My point is, it's either you are are scam or your are legit, so make we stop all these nonsense of condescending.

Singapore.... Calm, friendly, amiable, respectful and highly humble... bottom line is treat others with respect , do not raise your shoulders above others...
