Death was an easy way out.

He should have been alive to face the consequences of his actions.

Be you man or woman, never be with an emotionally unstable partner that can not control themselves, they're a time bomb waiting to detonate.

Excuses, Nigeria has been in a general nose dive since the British left so this desperate times thing has been a long time coming. undecided
I guess we should go to the British, cap in hand, and plead for them to come save us...

If you like, you can send a female in hijab, or you can dress in hijab and go break the law hoping that you will not be unveiled or searched...

Why do you folks just quick to point to the irrelevant abeg! Islam is a minority religion in a place like France — a foreign import — and so the French government was more easily able to tackle it in the way it did. Nigeria on the other hand has had Islam as a major part of its culture for about 200 years and as such walks a dangerous path in choosing to treat it in this manner. undecided

The Nigerian police could easily train female policewomen to handle this kind of case with as much respect as possible, and explain to these religious groups how they need to yield on their end as well to help the police work on their behalf. undecided

Make una gbenu soun

I support the police on this.

Do you expect the police to allow dem wear hijab in detention when same hijab has been used to perpetuate crimes both in Nigeria and other countries?

A man can wear same hijab, pass off as a woman, enjoy the privilege of not being searched just because hijab and then commit offences or hide weapons and contraband.

France has banned wearing of hijab and burka, Nigeria should adopt it as well.

Reason I despise these borrowed religions, especially the Abrahamic religions.

Accepting them means denouncing yourself.

How can you tell me that historic and cultural sites are the most evil places on earth?

Good one!

I'm Ika.

Where are you from?

How do you compare life in south East and South south with life in other parts of the country?
