Nothing like keep checking mail oo
Sometimes all this things that people say to console that it's maybe in batches has not always been the case with a lot of companies.

They have stopped sending mails for now.
So we are out.
A regret mail would have been appreciated
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Dangote Graduate Trainee Program by Mark05: 7:36am On Jul 30
No problem.
I am just wondering as some companies like NLNG only send mail once at thesame time. If you didn't get just wait for regret.

We will wait to see
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Dangote Graduate Trainee Program by Mark05: 5:44am On Jul 30
If one did not see it last night. Does that mean they are not shortlisted or can we expect mails today too ?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Shell Graduate Program Nigeria by Mark05: 9:36am On May 09
could be possible.
Last year I got rejected mail 3 weeks after ODVI. But definitely feedback will come once anything changes in the dashboard

Move on if you have not received the progress mail. Na Regrets dem go dey drop even for 2-3 Months.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Shell Graduate Program Nigeria by Mark05: 9:33am On May 09
Lol same thing.
But I kinda feel it's a good sign.

I am still on assessment in progress...
Omo! I just weak. Since April 21st

I completed my assessment on 28th of last month and since then no feedback from them. I saw here that some people have been contacted with either rejection mail or success mail, what could be delaying feedback for other candidates?
Most of those that got rejection is after 3 days. Other mails seem to come in almost 2 weeks.. so you still have a long way to go.
You need to wait upto 12 days plus. If you are lucky less.
Still haven't seen any feedback it's all about waiting
But atleast if you didn't get immediate rejection, high chance it's a success mail or a mail saying the department is full
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Shell Graduate Program Nigeria by Mark05: 6:52am On May 03
For those that got success mail, can you remember how many days interval.

I noticed rejection mails were sent exactly in 3 days.

For success mails, I don't personally know anyone that has received it to enquire the time it took. But it seems success mails take almost 2 weeks or more than 10days.

For me it's 12 days now no feedback
Career › Re: Shell 2026 Graduate Trainee by Mark05: 6:50pm On May 02
I noticed regret mails were sent in 3 days for exactly most of the people I know

Does it likely mean prolonged mail simply means one succeeds but could also mean on succeeded but the department is filled as someone mentioned

Any news guys.
On mails

Did shell call anyone to let them know they passed?
Someone that did the ODVI 2 days ago was sent a mail to write the 2nd assessment this weekend.
Another person that did there's 4 days ago was sent regret mail.

As for me I did mine 3 days ago but no mail. Meanwhile two people before and after me got mails.
Maybe they are not reviewing it in the order it was submitted.

But the fact is yes someone I know Got a mail to do the second assessment this weekend which is the success mail

That portal is annoying I can't find where to login
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 8:40am On Apr 08
Indeed from last thread (2022/2023) no success mails were sent after the first mail. I went through that thread last week. Saw how people's hope got slowly crushed as they expected a second wave before regret mails which also annoyingly came till like 24th of the month.

Like someone said above don't give us any motivational talk.
I have removed hope of getting any success mail.

But what really pissed me off is the fact I was initially not even shortlisted to take assesment I have never heard of the company till last year I didn't even know their benefits. It's as I got re shortlisted again after the first batch test. I wrote the first one and passed and second assessment. I would like to believe I did good. 5 numerical reasoning questions am sure where correct and two more done in a rush. The process simulation I am normally a gamer too so doing multiple things at once was not much of a challenge, I only later lost track of the temperature 3rd count.. JFA is just went with the best option which mainly focused on teamwork.

So in essence they should have just left me there when I was not shortlisted and forgot about it as I knew nothing about the company then. Than to not progress when I got a second chance and they were saying all that talk in their mail about wanting to give more people opportunity..

I already said it in the page the mail started dropping that since I didn't see it initially I have accepted my faith so moving on.

For those still hoping things can change this year too.

I think one thing that made it a bit easy for me was when I saw the notice to check the mail by 4pm yesterday the new mail I saw was test assessment mail from KPMG. 🤭 The timing was funny like universe saying don't stress too much try this one

yes i know of one
I think Civil Engineers where not shortlisted from the beginning of the process based on some friends I know. I don't know about electrical or mechanical engineering.
But is that person a Chemical Engineer
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 4:57pm On Apr 07
By the way for those that got the mail.
Is it success mail to give location for interview or invite mail.

Geekamon:
Quick question. Have any engineers gotten the mail?
No..! Neither I nor my friend got a any mail so far. Did you hear of any engineer getting it?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 4:34pm On Apr 07
I don't really want to be negative but from the last set thread that I read NLNG almost always send their mail at thesame time. I stand to be corrected. And right now if I don't get a mail by the end of the day I will take it in good faith and wait for regret mail. Lol... So congratulations to those that have seen. And more grace to us waiting to see.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 11:46pm On Apr 01
Lol willing to bet on that. I hope your analogy works out

Abduleeda1:
I think NLNG has gone past that.

The CEO for the 2013 set was 2 years into his tenure when they advertised the vacancy, and left a year to their resumption, so I’m not sure that the change in leadership had a negative impact to the process, if at all, I feel the new CEO would’ve been the one to ensure that the recruitment was completed against all odds.

So going by that, the emergence of this new commander 😂 should give a beacon of hope to the swift completion of the process, my thoughts though.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 8:44pm On Apr 01
A thought that crossed my mind was new CEO should not mean a delay in our recruitment. However when you gave the analogy that even your set got a new CEO and if my memory serves me correctly I believe it's your batch 2013 that waited 4 years right and got called in 2017.
So am like that does not seem like a good news lol. But I believe things will not get delayed this time. Hopefully!
But communication goes both ways if they do intend to delay we would appreciate a proper communication in this day and age.

But I am currently less worried about the process. Just hoping within April we get a feedback. Be it any day in the month.

At some point Airsay low-key predicted AC to take place ending April or in May which things seem to be going in that direction.

airsaylongcome:
New MD with new GTs, hmmm. That’s mirroring the 2013 set. A new CEO had resumed just before we resumed. Interesting dynamics because he was very very “hands on” with us during our training. First name basis. We called him by first name and he was cool with it. My brain nearly bursted 🤯. Calling a Nigerian CEO by first name!!!! My liver cut.

Years after I had left, I saw him standing somewhere at MM2 departure lounge. I walked up to him, called him by his first name and he was a bit surprised. I quietly mentioned “Bonny” and “GT” and he smiled. Very friendly guy. We talked briefly about how I was doing since leaving. He too had left Bonny back to his primary assignment.

Also met the DMD (from my time), again at MM2 last year. Introduced myself and again he was super friendly. He too was no longer at Bonny and was doing something LNG related for some company in Lagos.

Management there were super approachable on a personal basis

I just thought of something funny what if the next stage turns out to be medicals 😆. I mean after the first test, most people thought the second test was going to be accessment/interview. Just what if? 😌
Do you know if the last set wrote 2 tests or just one test? I believe it was 2022 set last right.

At some point I what you said crossed my mind. Because the nature of this second test was a bit interesting. But I doubt they will not want to test our presentation capability. It's not impossible either 🤭.

If the company was very humourous they could send everyone regret mail then write April fools for those that pass as they continue reading or sending a second mail to validate it's April fools

@airsay I know it’s been ages but can you remember the subject matter of your case study? A friend of mine who attended last year mentioned his case study was about investing in a play ground and was given a lot of financials and infos to aid decide whether the hypothetical company should invest or not. While that of the fact finding was about investing in one or two NGOs(One was a local and the other one was an international and prominent one)
I once asked if Engineering GT have thesame interview process. Which was answered as yes.
But it seems most case studies I have seen here so far a business related.

So for Engineering GTs in the house, are we to prepare like business or management?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 3:22pm On Mar 23
By the way this may sound funny. But do NLNG really call the referees we provide in our CV during application....

There is family drama with one of my referee before he will say since am in the family he will try to say something false 😅😅😅
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 10:20pm On Mar 16
For those that got the offer before @airsaylongcome
Am not asking you to disclose any amount. But do you receive like an allowance when you get there even if it's not yet the end of your first month.

For instance may sound funny but relocation or transport allowance.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 10:18pm On Mar 08
Well I get your point.
I was just putting in a peaceful resolution even though no one asked me to.

And I did mention I personally don't intend to buy it. But anyone who wants to can

For three people to call him out I guess explains all the hostility shown towards him. Which he has also been told to work on the accuracy of his info and being generic.

You did not make a mistake by stating where to find the MAP nor justifying CEB and SHL just as I addressed that..

I sincerely hope the AC won't take that long to come.
And even if it will mails should be sent much earlier 😅

airsaylongcome:
Mark05

Understand that at least three people who have been successful at the last three NLNG GT recruitment have looked at the quality of the posts and have all called it out as not NLNG specific. Three people. Three different NLNG recruitments. All three passed the process. None of them have recommended the material based on the quality of posts. So no, it’s not an attack on AI. It’s basically saying someone is taking generic AI content and passing them off as “NLNG ASSESSMENT CENTRE” material. If the material was passed as generic AC preparation material, all three former GTs would have side stepped. UcBren called out the MAP and “they” started talking about “Motivational Alignment Profile”. “They” categorically dismissed the SHL MAP that it had already been done.

I will put my hand up and say I shouldn’t have bitten the bait and respond to the question about where to find the MAP. That way, I would not have had to justify that CEB and SHL are one and the same company. So yeah I’d say that was purely my fault.

My advice now? Buy the material. You will ace the AC with it. Have a great week ahead everyone.

And one more thing, given some stuff I’ve seen on the SHL website (and this is purely personal opinion), I speculate that AC will be in May or July. PERSONAL OPINION.

In case you guys face a Competency-Based Interview, use the STAR technique.

ACs are all business related. It’s the interview that will be technical.
Alright thank You
I guess I will just prepare from a business perspective as well as engineering perspective for the technical. And generally just prepare for surprises

Well mail has not dropped yet
But best to start from now. Even if I don't pass it will come in handy for other similar applications
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 9:56pm On Mar 08
Draydd:
Even PhD no long reach like this bro grin I’ve done a couple ACs before, it’s making up scenarios, brainstorming ideas to solve a problem, or presenting a business scenario and justifying decisions. It’s not aptitude test. We’ve already write 2 tests, it’ll be waste of my time to write another test. No be common entrance
I completely agree
Though serious most of those scenerios seemed business orientated
I don't know if it's thesame scenerio presented to engineering graduates.

Coz I am expecting to see more of production and equipment maintenance or recommendations based questions

Which leads be to ask this. Like in the case of group interview phase or just generally that day. Is it thesame scenerio questions and case study all GT are asked to evaluate regardless of course or study?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Mark05: 9:48pm On Mar 08
JobsLever:
Infact members here were only concentrating on the scenarios I realized there was no solutions on how to answer these scenarios and even how to conduct a presentation successfully, I went through the lapses and refered members here to the e-book because I knew it contained solutions not just questions or case studies.
Sometimes our methods of communication is what causes misunderstanding. Though most of us here have displayed🤭 you included and SOME others as well in how they addressed you.

If the book fully contains solutions then to me it's not useless. Though I still can't ignore what Stargurl said.

But even me I don't just want case studies I want to see how they where approached and answered. Which for me I would just do my solutions first then paste to chat GPT to see it's solution and compare.
Most times we can do it is just a matter of we want to be sure if we are doing it the way it's required.

So if anyone can provide it it's much appreciated.

Just work on how you market it and relay your info and ensure it's accurate so there won't be negative reviews.

But I kinda like seeing you reply beyond the copy paste method because at some point I though you were an auto reply bot or something as I've not been here for long
