I was in owerri last week,and yes the place is beautiful but don't be fooled,people sleep in darkness and there's absolutely no electricity, as owerri has the most epileptic power supply in the entire country.
It was annoying to learn that the hotels are the ones bribing the electricity distribution companies to provide electricity to them leaving the citizens in darkness..

If not for personal efforts through solar energy and power plants...
