The funniest thing is the certainty with which people post. I mean statements like "I can authoritatively tell you that Officers Cadre won't be sitting for CBT bla bla bla...."....despite very clear indications. Well, most (NOT ALL) of the people that make such statements do so when they aren't lucky to be shortlisted. But that's not the end of life. And another thing that I believe is that the reason why SOME officers give false hopes to candidates might be because they must have promised such candidates or their families that they would help.
As for the criteria for not shortlisting a lot of people, one can't be entirely sure. But I believe that their are lots of people who met the requirements in the first stage. I mean people who have absolutely no issues with their credentials, met the height and age requirements, perfect certificate of medical fitness, and covered 2km in even less than 9 minutes, but still did not get shortlisted. The plain truth is that all qualified candidates CAN'T all be invited for CBT for a massive exercise such as this. The test was computer-based and the resources to conduct such will definitely be very limited. In my opinion, the real screening starts from the CBT, because that's the beginning of the real test of intelligence. Next is the drug test.
But people should move on, seriously. I mean those that didn't get invited for the CBT.
Let's keep wishing each other well.
Just like I stated in my last post, I'm wishing those who sat for the CBT the very best. My prayer is for God to favor them. When God say it's your time, then it is. Nothing can stop it.
And for those that didn't make it through to the CBT stage, don't feel like you did something wrong. Most of you are just as qualified as those who were shortlisted. Let's keeping praying for and wishing each other well in all our endeavors.
