Have you ever tried so hard to register both on Upwork and Fiverr with your Nigeria account and get rejected over and over again? This boil down to the reputation we have all built as a country and as individuals. Many are skillful as graphics designers, writers, artist, building sites and many more.
The problem is that many who have defrauded foreigners with their Nigeria account has ended up killing the hopes of Nigerians becoming successful in these platforms.
Smart we are though, Nigerians have resulted to using foreign accounts in order to get jobs from these platforms and these has been working over the years.
So how do we resolve this problem? Many have wondered.
Over the coming week, a group has be created and we will be sending useful information to these platforms to help them grant Nigerians more opened access to gaining jobs on these platforms. On the other hand, all in Nigeria making use of foreign account illegally might be affected.
We have collected a few accounts that has been used to scam Nigerians and we will be forwarding this to them, such accounts will be used to trace other account running in the same way. We will advice them to ban such account and make the platform available for Nigerians again.
Many Nigerians have been scamed by their country men who also work on this same platform. If we will make Nigeria better in the online scene, it starts will us.
More updates will roll in when ball is about to be kicked rolling.
Security operatives will also be informed about this development as we have contacted few operatives to make the move official.
The fight against corruption starts with each one of us.

At the case: Why is everybody commenting without getting the full gist? OP, what really went down? You didnt give full details. Just shared half and half and everybody is getting sympathetic already. How do you expect sane people to offer the best way to go about this? You only said you did a project and expect us to believe like that? Seriously? What project? What were the terms? How and where did you people meet? Online? Offline? Through who? Who recommended you for the project?

OH I only asked for help in greeting to him if you can read clearly I never said all those thing you are saying. I am not surprised they always sound as serious as you, who knows if you are the one. I sent screenshot and you're still saying this. Is it about spoiling his image, someone I don't know from Adam. Check the next screenshot from the person who owns the job. Let's be sensible we are not all in the game of pulling others down like you.

I saw a similar post like this on Facebook,it happened in SA,guessed what the South Africans did,they added the scammer's number on WhatsApp, and they harraser her to return the wig she stole,and it went viral

In the millionaires thread a guy who said he made $17k from fiverr also said he learnt all he knows from these thread.

Also aside from fiverr, have you guys tried other platforms like Upwork and peopleperhour? I hear they are also good. Not a freelancer but I read these stuff once in a while

Also I remember one guy who said he does not rely on fiverr traffic alone that he posts link to his gig on relevant Facebook groups to his gig and that is how he get most of his traffic

As much as i believe in the theory of hard work and seriousness, i have sometimes been cheated by this.
Fiverr brought a glimpse of hope and freedom from several freelance writers who out of selfishness and who knows what pay 1.0 per word for several articles that are well researched and documented. When i heard of Fiverr, i thought i will completely be free from those little tip-like payment.
Maybe I thought of it too much, maybe Fiverr is another great wall to climb, either way i have only had hard time on this platform.
Spent several hours cooking up nice gigs, called several friends to help check it out. learnt the best way to bid for jobs, and as much as possible i always try to be online.
but sad to say, I'm always out-bidded.
impression and clicks keeps flying high by day and still no order.
Can any pro here suggest ways to improve things and grant myself the fist big sale on fiverr. I'm losing hope on this platform.
