Reasoning should have led to other things besides the awareness of the supernatural. Reasoning should have led us to assume nothing created everything, why didn't reasoning lead people to believe that everything occured as they met it, why did it lead them to assume they must be a supernatural twist to it. Why did it direct them towards worship and reverence. These are not supposed to be rational thinking patterns and reasoning should be according to science

I don't think you are understanding the meaning of being omniscient. If anyone is omniscient I don't think he has anything to b regretful of. Due to his unlimited knowledge of good, bad, the future, the past and everything. If I'm omniscient n I created something I'm supposed to know the future of that object.
