Dude, do you know why corruption is pervasive in this country? We got away from taking oath on the virtue of the earth's power and started swearing to a written oath that is meaningless and ineffective. So now everyone has taken liberty in that meaningless oath to do what they want. Here is how to clear the ground on this letter issue. Iyabo should be interrogated privately by the elders of Owu, her fatherland to confess if she wrote thie letter or not. If she maintained she did not, the elders put out invitation with 7days ultimatum asking the author to come and see them privately. On the 7th day if no one has showed up, take the case to Sango, and wait! Thats how you cure looneys.
I don't care who writes it as far as I am concerned and as a true Yoruba son, it is not in our culture to insult an elder or write something as gross as this against an elder no matter what the elder has done.I respect elders so that one day I would grow to be one and also get respected. On that note u repeat anyone either Iyabo Obasanjo or any other person or group or people that fabricated this letter is doom for life, pains, sorry, sadness, stagnacy, bitterness and all bad things of this life is already the portion of that person permanently.Àrọ ti rọ mọ,épé ti ko ni yi pada ni.It's sealed |
Whoever fabricated that letter will never use his or her hand to do something good in this life and will never get to be as old as OBJ nor any closer. So shall it be.Asé |
femoint007: Can someone say Amen to these prayer:may your life be ruled exactly the same way Gej is ruling nigeria.....Hey,stop that impersonation. Can't you think on something else to write other than what someone else has written. That your brain is meant for thinking so use it |
awodman: Carry your frustration elsewhere biko...people who listen to political platform know far better...first there is a listener's corner where mails of listeners are read and those mails are well mixed....now coming to the presenters they are also well mixed,Ohieri is a neutral,Amaechi Anakwe comes down very hard on govt,Mustapha Mohammed does same,Uju Eje is a neutral...the only person on the crew who you can accuse of been pro-govt is Ehiedu....If I catch that Ehiedu with his mouth like foul yansh. To be sincere, you are very correct but sometimes Amechi & oheiri are also biased but not like that foul yansh mouth Ehiedu ![]() |
Political platform on Ray power every morning is also biased with useless set of people talking trashes. What they don't understand is that there opinions are very useless and the mind of people has being made up regardless of whatever rubbish they are saying. They are all pro-GEJ and anti Opposition,I am sorry to say but they are fools and they cannot brainwash us |
I don't know that we have a lot of Satan worshipers on nairaland.I have to henceforth check your moniker before quoting anyone so that I don't trade words with agents of the devil |
We are tired of this political showdown, can't all of them just shut up for a month and let their be peace? |
We have a lot of fools on this forum,do oshiomole or Amechi need to tell us that we are foolish by condoning all this nonsense from our so called leaders? How can our leaders exploit us with so much impunity and we keep our fingers crossed. There is no reasonable suggestions that makes sense to most fools on this forum, once it's from an opposition they say it's an attempt to discredit GEJ,fools, hypocrites that's what you are if you continue to reason as such.Just because our past leaders didn't get things right doesnt mean our present or future leaders should follow thesame trend. We have to start thinking collectively on how to achieve the Nigeria of our dream where justice is equal to all no matter how highly placed you are,a country where we forget any form of tribal, religious and political differences and see ourselves first of all as a human being without segregation. Our future is in our hands and wr can change our destiny for good if we so desire.Whatever our governors, senators, representatives, etc are not doing right, let us speak together with one voice and condemn them.United we rise but divided we fall, let us all work together collectively for our future and the future of our generations' yet unborn.God bless Nigeria |

President Goodluck Jonathan and former ruler Olusegun Obasanjo were locked in a secret meeting late yesterday in faraway Nairobi, Kenya, apparently to discuss Obasanjo’s scathing criticism of Jonathan in a letter leaked to the media, a source privy to the talks told Abusidiqu. Talks between the current and former presidents were held at the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi where Jonathan is lodged to attend Kenya’s 50th independence celebrations. Jonathan and Obasanjo had on Tuesday attended the memorial held to honor the life of Nelson “Madiba” Madela, South Africa’s great man of history and world’s single most significant statesman of the last 100 years. Jonathan and Obasanjo were said to have had a “fruitful discussion” after emerging from the meeting beaming with smiles and sharing a warm handshake in a move to paper over cracks in their continually strained relationship and sway watchers that there was no acrimony between the two, the source said. The Nairobi talks follows Obasanjo’s sanctimonious attack on Jonathan in an 18 page December 2 note to the President titled “Before It Is Too Late”. Obasanjo accused Jonathan of everything from corruption to divisive politics to dangerous ambition. “Nigeria is bleeding and the hemorrhage must be stopped,” Obasanjo said. “As Head of Government, the buck of the performance and non- performance stops on your table.” He said the president’s agenda serves a narrow ethnic interest of the Ijaw nation and fostered divisions between Christians and Muslims as Jonathan seeks to retain power in 2015. Jonathan, 56, who took over since 2010 after the death of Umaru Yar’Adua, hasn’t openly declared his intention to seek re-election in 2015. The former president dared Jonathan to share the contents of the letter with heads of former military juntas Generals Ibrahim Babangida, Abdulsalami Abubakar and Yakubu Danjuma, as well as former Vice President Alex Ekwueme “who on a number of occasions in recent times have shared with me their agonizing thoughts, concerns and expressions” about the future of the country. Presidential spokesman Reuben Abati reacted angrily to Obasanjo’s letter describing it as “highly unbecoming, mischievous and provocative” while acknowledging receipt of the said correspondence. Obasanjo’s letter was “deliberately leaked to the mass media in a deplorable effort to impugn the integrity of the President and denigrate his commitment to giving Nigeria the best possible leadership,” Abati said. Jonathan, who is expected back in Abuja from Nairobi today, will “at the appropriate time, offer a full personal response to the most reckless, baseless, unjustifiable and indecorous charges levied against him and his administration by the former Head of State,” Abati said. www.osundefender.org/?p=137164 |
