"We Steal Because You Never Stoned Us for It" -Rivers Governor, Rotimi Amaechi"

Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi says the reason that political office holders steal fund is because citizens have never confronted or stoned them (including himself) for the act.

At a tribute event for Nelson Mandela in Lagos, Mr. Amaechi said Nigerians have not shown enough aggression or resistance against stealing by political office holders.

I draw my conclusion from being the governor of Rivers State. He crushed all opposition. Eg ex Okirika LGA chairman and Obio Akpor.
Development: Massive Road Project,Health Center,Schools etc

It is even possible that he is equally corrupt ,
But he has a conscience and that I can live with.
