Nigerian companies and celebrities can now monitor what the media is saying about them using Naija Dailies state-of-the-art news widget. The news display automatically updates at predefined intervals. And it is free!

It is not complicated to display the latest news on your website, simply copy the following code to the location on your website where you want the widget to display news.

<div id='naijadailies_news'></div>
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.naijadailies.com/Scripts/Widget.js'></script>

The widget can display on both desktop and mobile websites, and it offers many customization properties:

1. News can be displayed for a specific category only, such as entertainment, politics, sports, etc.
2. News can come from a specific source, example: Vanguard News, Linda Ikeji Blog, Punch, etc.
3. It is also possible to display news on a specific topic, group, or individual, example: Nairaland, WizKid, Mercy Johnson, etc.
4. Widget can be set to refresh at any desired interval, default is 60 minutes.
5. Also, it is possible to specify minimum and maximum number of news item to display.
6. Naija Dailies also supports seamless blending of the widget into your website by providing colour, width, and browsing mode properties.

All six properties can be combined, and they are all optional as well.

To get a customized widget for your website, go here: http://www.naijadailies.com/News/WidgetWizard

Naija Dailies does not interfere with normal loading or operations of any website. Also, it does not tamper with cookie or user settings in the browser.

No problem. Actually, you can use multiple keywords. Just make sure you separate them by comma.

My bad, the code is meant for those who already have JQuery on their website...use this instead:
<div id='naijadailies_news'></div>
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://www.naijadailies.com/Scripts/Widget.js'></script>

Note: I also modified the code in the original post. Remember to customize for your website.

Good luck. smiley

Nairaland AdsRe: Nairaland's New Dynamic Ads - Beta Test by masquarade: 9:47am On Oct 24, 2013
Hi Seun,

I placed some 3 Ads yesterday. Here is my experience:

1. I got an email asking me to follow the campaign link to place the Ad on boards.
2. I did as directed, saw the Ad briefly on politics section, then they all disappeared.
3. One Ad said I can place on many sections, but when I tried to do that I got the negative balance message.

I am a bit confused as per what happened. Also, you did not answer any of my questions regarding payment. Could you reply please to the PM?

BTW, good job and thanks!

PoliticsAPC Holds National Convention January by masquarade(op): 3:56pm On Aug 05, 2013
Just few days after the registration of the new party, APC is already set for convention in January. However, most Nigerians are still skeptical if they can mount a serious challenge to PDP in 2015. I believe balance of power will do us some good. smiley

What about Naija Dailies? Although, I don't know how profitable the website. I think it is a good website too with latest Nigerian and popular news.
